The color isn't even exclusive to the box. Standard also on cyan. And $40?! Haha. So that BM link from earlier is just a 2xLP.

So, to recap, an extra $70 nets you:

*12” x 12” rigid box (numbered)
*Deluxe CD, 17 tracks
*Fold-out poster
*Songs of Experience Newspaper

Yeah, I still only see 2 t-shirts and a sweatshirt?

Who knows. Maybe clear your cache or try a different browser or mobile. I'm seeing all the Experience-related items now.

It only shows up if I use a different browser.  And they don't even take Paypal to take advantage of 6 months to pay.  SMH.

Thanks! Wonder why these guys are so much cheaper? Anyone had experience with them before? Are they good at fulfilling orders?

JPC is great (because they're German and they use DHL which is the best of the all the couriers IMO).

I would have maybe waited for one of the periodic discount coupons they throw at you if you're on their mailing list. The usual discount is 20% which tends to cover the shipping cost. YMMV. Then again I appreciate that deluxe editions sell out in advance.

I know it's a (very) long shot but any chance anyone here would be able to try and pick me up a copy of the coloured 12" of The Blackout for Black Friday?

https://thirdmanrecords.com/index.php/news/u2-the-blackout/

I know it will be hard but there's never any harm in asking is there?

They're still trying to find details, but here's a listing for $38:

Seems that may be too cheap to be the deluxe, but also too pricey to be a standard 2xLP? Not sure. Hopefully that's deluxe.

The Deluxe is $90 at Bull Moose.

According to the FanFire site, the only difference “music wise” is the inclusion of the U2 vs Kygo version of “...Best Thing About Me.”

I pre-ordered the $38 one. ;)

The more and more I think about this, there's absolutely nothing in that box worth an extra $50 unless you just want to say you have a numbered version.  I'll use that extra $50 to join U2.com to get the Joshua Tree singles and pre-sale code.

This money grab is beginning to remind me of the Bono family guy clip "Its fer the starvin' children, peeter" but only comes up in spanish on youtube. bono himself probably had all the real versions removed

Yeah, standard edition for me. Not only that, not even gonna bother pre-ordering. My local shop is almost always reliable for getting the standard edition new releases by big name bands.

There's nothing that's been posted thus far that would suggest the standard 2LP is only available directly from the bands webshop. As such, I'm probably good to go at my local shop.
