Yes Relayer pressing question (runout etching)

Recommended Posts

Hello all...

I have what appears to be an Atlantic US release of Yes Relayer, SD181220698, according to the sleeve.  Data online suggests I should see Peckham's etching on the runout, the ubiquitous "Porky."

Instead, one side of the actual LP has "Joel Rodriguez 2-3-74" etched, and the other side has "Joel R." along with the standard catalog/pressing number etchings.

I haven't been able to find any matching info online about this particular mastering engineer, nor am I able to match the actual disc I have with any US release.  It might be that the disc is mismatched to the sleeve it came in.

Any info on which pressing this is? Who is Joel Rodriguez?

Cheers,
PAZ

You have a better shot with your post of this same question on the Hoffman Forums.  Also, there is a specific thread for questions about records called "Does anyone have any info about this record" or something like that. Hopefully a moderator will move this thread there. Good luck finding the info you want.

Also, pictures of the label and run out groove would be a huge help.
