timsimmons
I'm really surprised more people don't value their time/sleep over paying up for something on ebay/discogs at this point. especially since most RSD things come down after a few weeks on the aftermarket. I mean I just kinda have fun with it. Gives me an excuse to dedicate a whole day to doing music shit and I get to hang with a bunch of like minded people. I hate RSD shenanigans and the official shit behind it and wish it would just be those releases put back into standard print, but regardless of my irritation with the corporate fuckery I still have fun. Bonus points when my favorite shops put out cool used stuff that they've been holding back. Dojo Daniel

I used to camp out at 8pm for 12 hours, but just not worth it anymore. especially since I feel a lot of the demand has gone down. I got everything I wanted last year online for maybe $50 more. ill take sleep over that

pizza face
I don't mind waking up at 5/6 am to wait in line for some records. Get in there at 8, leave by 8:15. Get home around 8:30/8:40 and continue on with my day. I bring my modded PSP to pass the time. Bullmoose always give out free stickers, posters, records, cassettes, keychains and other random stuff. I guess if you go to a shop that does nothing then I can see why it's not enjoyable for most. Then again I'm not camping out for 12 hours otherwise I wouldn't do it either.
