MCDELTAT
Yeah I really shouldn’t have listened till I had the vinyl in hand. Album is good but felt like I needed to be reading along to the lyrics. This might be like The Hotelier “Goodness” for me where there album is alright listening biking, but 10/10 when I’m reading along.

Definitely some tracks that I know will be my favorites but I know I'll appreciate all of them twice as much knowing the lyrics too.

As is tradition with the previous 2 or 3 Wonder Years LPs. The lyrics only elevate their already great and evolving sound.

deer
does anyone have any clue where that green/blue merge will pop up/is for sale? As seen in the variant set pic Hopeless/the band posted, of course. IMO that colour fits the record the best.

AndrewSS
Listened to the album a few times since I got the code the other night. Absolutely love it. Very bummed I couldn't make it down to Philly for the pop up

Absolute masterpiece. My favorite so far. Can't wait to get the booklet/vinyl this afternoon MCDELTAT
jcduncan
This might replace Suburbia as my favorite album of theirs. Just bought the Banquet Blue /500 online...weird they haven't sold out yet.
YesPlease
Definitely a solid, strong album! Soupy has always been a sick lyricist, always getting emotions across and felt. I just personally miss some of the songs being more uplifting/positive in the face of difficulty. Still an amazing album.
jcduncan
Can we talk about how beautiful "Flowers Where Your Face Should Be" is? What a great song. Buffbloom and The Saint
dethrock
Got plain black from Amazon Canada. Cheap so I didn’t care about the variant. Can’t listen to until Monday but I can’t wait!

Wish I would have gotten one of the NCTH ones...I've always gone back and forth with variant collecting. Right now I have all of Sister Cities except for the Blue Mountain Splatter Book and the original black.
