Pretty much all of these MOV presses of RATM records can be found on black vinyl for around $20 before shipping in the States. No need to drop $60+.

Here are some links for all but S/T for anyone brave enough to be exposed to the radioactive danger of owning what is most likely a black copy of these records:

I highly doubt anyone is even remotely worried about optaining a black copy of these.

just because you don’t see the point in collecting something doesn’t mean others do.

a lot of people, including myself, have been after the colored versions of these titles for a bit now.

No one in this thread ever indicated that they were interested in these specific color versions of these presses strictly because of the color. Call me old fashioned but I figured people wanted RATM records for the music that is on them. Some posts in this thread are ambiguous about whether or not the color is the defining factor for the want of the records by the posters. I'm giving people insight which can lead them to having the music on the vinyl format from the MOV label which contains RATM's music. Just because I am personally a proponent of having  records I like on black vinyl specifically and am clearly open about it doesn't mean that I'm necessarily trying to convert anyone to my ethic on the matter. Its entirely plausible that there are people viewing this thread that are unaware that they have an inexpensive option for owning these records. Its like people who go on eBay and buy a record that's well over retail only to find out later that they could have bought the same record for 1/3 of the price had they done a little research. So you can highly doubt it 'til you're blue in the  face but I'm just reminding people they have the option of having this music on vinyl regardless of color. Stand down, soldier.

People need that colored wax. I guess.

And that's fine. I'm not going to tell anyone they can't need it but if someone is interested in the music more than the pigment of the PVC its pressed on, these can be had for a third of that price. I figured it didn't hurt to throw the option out there but I guess I was wrong. It hurts a little.

The ST MOV press used the original plates and is amazing. The MOV version(on any color) stopped being pressed when they released that crappy XX anniversary pressing.

The MOV S/T has been the XX version since the XX version came out, and is not always advertised that way. And the original plates that were used for the first MOV are the EU or UK original plates, which are good, but are not the loved US RL cut. Not passing judgment, just info.

Loved us cut?

RL initials aren't even in the etching. Masterdisk is where he was at but it's weird his initials aren't in the matrix if he cut it.

He did master both pressing and is credited as such but unsure who cut the lacquer
