kurtz
Yea I think they could beat my Dolphins. Im not a fan of college football at all really. I wanna be able to go to an NFL game with out having to drive 2 hrs to San Diego. At their peak I wondered if there wasn't about 5 teams they could have beaten. No way. Any NFL team would dominate any college team, no matter how good the college team is. The talent level is that much higher in the NFL. The majority of those USC players couldn't even make an NFL team, and even fewer could actually start for one.

At USC's peak they started a line-up where the majority of the starters played in the NFL. I think USC would have given the bottom 5 NFL teams a run if not beaten some of them. goraiders
Al Davis just had to convince our new 60 million dollar, overpaid receiver NOT to retire when he has six years left on his contract!! Already off to a good start.
mikeian
so i think a proposed stadium is going to be like 5-10ish minutes away from my house in 2010.. and all i thought was, "fuck the traffic that that's going to create" i want to go to denver to see the broncos though... probably fly out sometime this season or next.. mediocore
HA! I have to drive 3 to see the Jets play. Plus pay an assload per ticket and parking. Don't even. Yea Ive never even been to a SD game cause I dont wanna drive down there. Only been to one NFL game in my life and it was when the Rams were still in LA. Rams vs. Jets. They were probably the 2 worst teams in the league at the time. It's funny -- I used to always ask for Broncos vs. Raiders tix for Christmas or my birthday from my parents, and they'd always say no because they thought it'd be too dangerous. So we always ended up at Rams games (and the Broncos would play there on occasion) and those games seemed just as violent. Always tons of fights, etc.

Worst fans I've encountered are Green Bay, Chicago, and Rams.
Guest scriptedrain
Nice to see diversity in this thread (unlike the NHL ones). Go Dallas (lifelong fan because of my dad)! They had a fantastic offseason.

kirbypuckett
Fact: If/when the NFL gets rid of the salary cap it will become an awful league.
slymer
I usually try and go to at least two Charger games a year. I'm a huge fan, but it is expensive as hell. Can't wait for the season to start! Should win the division, and hopefully get past the Pats in the playoffs.

Broncos games in Denver are badass. I try to go to Denver once every few seasons. I try to make it out for a Broncos game once a year. Those are super fun, especially against the Raiders. On a related note, if Brandon Marshall can get his behavior under control he's going to be an amazing player for a long time. Watching that guy play is insane.
