ericxthexred Posted November 21, 2007 Share Posted November 21, 2007 so i just recently picked up a copy of the briefs "off the charts" LP used at a record store, but its signed by the band and says "thanks greg" on the cover. i dont really care for autographed records and would like to correct this damage. any tips? also, anyone know the pressing on this? its on white. zak138 Posted November 21, 2007 Share Posted November 21, 2007 Pressing info for the Briefs is pretty scattered and I've never found a definitive, complete source but that should be the Dirtnap pressing and I don't think it's more than 500. xjustinxschwierx Posted November 22, 2007 Share Posted November 22, 2007 honestly try a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab...don't let it be dripping wet, but essentially try writing over it in small areas and it might come off. A lot of commercial markers are alcohol based so that may work...though it also may dull the finish of the sleeve....but i woud try that over lighter fluid...but also hairspray could work too... I don't think they write a lot of their own descriptions. more like they don't write ANY of their descriptions. one requirement of sending in stuff to them is you have to write up a description for all you releases. paaaaain in the ass.
