loren
im just curious how all of you stumbled upon vinyl collective. i ended up finding them through an ebay auction...i bought the fear before art damage picture disc and then read in a newsletter thing about the etid box set coming and got so excited cause i was curious about when/if it owuld be released. then the great shipping price and selction of records kept me coming back fozzyb and yarostino
robotnerd
a friend(benchwarmer, actually) referred me when there was the first "guess all these records" contest. and yeah, after trying to do that i looked through the inventory and quickly told him "man, this site is gonna make me go broke." xfedaykinx
i first found the site by pre-ordering pmfs - mercy on vinyl. i then signed up for an rss feed of the news posts to get the heads up on any additional releases. once i saw that ptw - versions and minus the bear - planet of ice were in the works i started to pay more attention to the site. then i found the message board and the rest is history. i love this place, so glad i found it. steventangent
Someone was like, "Have you seen that Bear vs Shark picturedisc?" and referred me here when it was too late to get the first picturedisc. Then I saw the repress and the mention of Right Now, You're In The Best Of Hands... so I kept on the watch. I really wish I had one to make my collection complete, as they and Small Brown Bike have made my days here in Michigan just that much better. Of course, my wife also bought me some stuff for xmas from vinylhome on ebay, and when they were out of stock on one of them I realized it was the same place and they let me substitute from the VC. I realized the service was awesome so I kept ordering.
