sgoodcore
hahaha that's who I thought it was at first too. this season of last comic standing was a sham. Was it me or did the chick that win remind anyone else of a female Dane Cook at times?
dante3000
Ugh...If I have to hear about how he's Hindu and he's going to reincarnated as a baby so he can suck on my wife's titties one more time... I'll just fucking snap. Yeah. I really liked him the first go around. Then I saw that was all he had. It really was a one trick pony. It's too bad because what he had wasn't bad but it was so redundant. ALSO! I'm not a huge fan of any of the Comics (though the dude with the cello or whatever had some moments) but I have to give it up to the girl who won, the phrase "Handicapped gorilla in heels" had me laughing. mando
I thought it was pretty funny when rogan called out mencia until I saw rogans showtime special and recognized more than enough jokes that are older than I am....they both suck and are both unoriginal imo
jayeffscene
The first season of Last Comic Standing was so good. I stopped watching after that. I was pissed that Dat won. Dave Mordal and Rich Vos were fucking hysterical. Also, I'm changing the name of this thread, as I don't think Mencia will be brought up again. dante3000
I loved Josh Blue. He was so funny. "Oh my god, I'm becoming a magician! I hate magicians." Also I saw Lavell Crawford live and he was way better than I thought he'd be. Apparently, there was a bunch of his routine (race related and more expletive laden) that the producers wouldn't let him (and other comedians) do. He had a great routine about his mom, "And I'm only 17 so I can still kill all three of y'all, go to prison and get out in time time make three more just like you. So don't push me because Lavell I don't like how you're hair is coming in". Way way more than just fat jokes.
kurtz
first off, matt, where did you find that picture?! REX for the win! fuck RAY!second: Norm is awesome. He has been one of my favorite comedian since his days on SNL. And where the hell are all these closet Norm fans coming from. All of a sudden, after the Saget roast, he's the cool comedian to like. valentine
first off, matt, where did you find that picture?! REX for the win! fuck RAY!second: You see Norm on the Saget roast? Fucking gold! It was simply amazing. One of the hardest routines to pull off properly and he killed with it. Not to mention the dude is smart shit. He got to the million dollar question on who wants to be a millionaire but Regis siked him out and he walked away, even though his hunch ended up being the right answer. benchwarmer
I missed the Saget roast, but knowing comedy central it will be on every night for the next 3 weeks. also been a big fan of Norm for a long time now
shanehennessey
I saw Mitch Hedberg open for Attell and Lewis Black. It was pretty awesome although neither my dad nor I knew who he was. I also saw Jim Bruer in the spring at Tulane and it was god awful. His standup special is funny but I don't know what was wrong with him that night. He also made some very awkward remarks about Katrina.
jhulud
Maybe it's just me, but Norm kinda sucked on the roast. I didn't find himt to be his usual deadpan funny.

He's been out of the limelight for a while. It was probably the first time a lot of people had seen him in a few years.
shanehennessey
Comedy Central sometimes plays this Norm special and it's hillarious. Definitely one of the better specials I've seen Also, a lot of Norms jokes from the roast were from this book I believe. A few of them are mentioned http://halife.com/speakers/roast.html

kirbypuckett
I don't like when Seinfeld does the standup thing, but the show is the greatest sitcom in history.
mediocore
I don't like when Seinfeld does the standup thing, but the show is the greatest sitcom in history. I saw Seinfeld live and thought he was pretty funny. It's a lot of the same humor as usual though, so I probably wouldn't go again. But the one time was pretty damn good. mediocore
All about this dude: Didn't see him at the roast but I love when he's on Stern. He killed on the Roast too. The least funny person on the Roast? Jon Lovitz. He was horrible. And I usually find him to be a funny dude.
