scottheisel
Spencer Elden, the baby from the cover of Nirvana's Nevermind, then and now: What a bummer.
kyle
How shitty would that be to grow up as the kid whose weiner was on the Nirvana cover? I mean, eventually, you'd realize that that was pretty fucking sweet, but when that kid was like 7 or 8 he was probably yelling at his mom and dad, "WHY DID YOU GUYS SHOW EVERYONE MY WEINER!" Guest scriptedrain
I wonder if the girl on "The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me" will get any recognition later on in life. - Jeff

Guest scriptedrain
I know Brand New's legacy isn't going to equal Nirvana's. I couldn't tell you a single thing about Lemonheads, but I'll take your word for it. I guess I brought it up because I looked up and a poster with the album's artwork was staring me in the face. Either way, though, that's why I said "any" recognition. If they were of Nirvana's caliber (say on a Radiohead album cover), I would've said "I wonder what it's going to be like for that kid growing up." - Jeff

altarsofradness
well, i only mentioned them because of all the bands mentioned, i think they're the ones with the least amount of notoriety
kyle
Really? I'd probably put the Violent Femmes above the Lemonheads as far as notoriety. Its all opinion of course, its pretty hard to judge this sort of thing.
