robotnerd
well, we won't physically be on the tv, but this will be the third or fourth time we'll have a song in an episode. i think it's going to be the song "Treble is High" which is on our myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/cherrytempo everyone watch! Guest scriptedrain
How did that get lined up? Do you get any royalties for it? Anyone ever recognize you from the show? I've always wondered how it works. - Jeff

robotnerd
we've done a few liscensing things with the company that handles real world before, mostly real world/road rules type shows. we do get royalties from it. i don't think anyone has ever seeked us out from the show, we don't get our name in the credits or anything, so it'd be tough to find out who we were. I don't watch MTV, but when I used to watch it I thought at the end of the show they would have a graphic come up that would say "music in this episode by...". I'm a believer in giving credit where credit is due and even though you're still getting paid, I think your name should appear somewhere, even if that means a footnote at the end of the credits. - Jeff
robotnerd
they USED to do that. now they just run the production credits.

robotnerd
i dunno... somethin murray or something. i don't handle that part of our band business. here's the clip, it's the first thing in the episode after the "previously on" and opening credits. http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1567290&vid=169020
