dim
I was driving home from a friend's house around 1 am and at the corner of an intersection parked next to a chinese restaurant was a car on fire. Straight up burning like someone drenched the whole thing in kerosene. No one around either. So this is basically the "crazy stories from home" thread

ronniethebear
Once I saw a group of police in flak jackets, toting shotguns, converge on a car stopped in the street. Another time, my friend and I witnessed part of a high-speed chase. EXCITING.
skumbucket
i participated in a military/media training exercise. it was to train soldiers going to iraq on how to deal with the media...and for the media to learn how to deal with soldiers. it was basically us running around with our cameras during firing exercises with live ammunition. totally surreal and an incredible amount of fun. benchwarmer
I remember I went to a Blood for Blood reunion show at this really small club in Boston and when we all left there were cops sweaping the streats in riot gear, that was sureal. also I was having lunch one day and a knife fight happened right in front of my window, that was odd. riddle350
When I first moved to Seattle I was moving into my apartment and I'd been there all of five minutes when the cops pressed some dude up against the window and arrested him. That was a nice welcome.

Unfortunatly there was no face print.
Guest falloutcollapse
when i was walking to the train from a show at the metro, a car sped up, hit a bus from behind, and then backed up and passed him. the front of his car was all messed up and the airbags went off. but he just kept driving.
