i'm 99% sure you have to open that puppy up, and either mod it yourself or get someone else to. you definitely have to be able to play burned media, though. i'll try to find a step-by-step guide for you

I saw this and scoured the internet and found this-http://www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4747 He says its idiot proof but seems kind of complicated. You could also use freetar.net but that doesn't play on the PS2, just the computer. Still, if you don't want to make your own songs theres a pretty good library on the internet.

I belibe you need a generation one ps2 in order to mod it. You can find decent instructions online for it. I'm pretty sure you'll also need a midi conersion program and then a program specifically made to either create the notes on screen automatically, or you can find one to do it on your own which is quite a bit more involved.

i've seen two videos of "between the fire and the flames" -- one the player created one (which is totally unreal if you find the right one) and the gh3 version. both are face-meltingly ridiculous.

I agree entirely. I'm afraid GH3 will almost be too challenging. I really don't ever imagine beating this song on expert.
