skumbucket Posted August 21, 2007 Share Posted August 21, 2007 that is seriously one of the coolest things i've ever seen. it's hard to pick an absolute favourite...musically it's probably a draw between hwm's "caution", the weakerthans "left and leaving", and murder by death's "in bocca al lupo" just because they are in my top 15 albums of all time and i have deep emotional connections to all of them. but if i had to pick one i guess it'd be my autographerd hot water music "never ender" 2xlp. for so many reasons. jhulud Posted August 21, 2007 Share Posted August 21, 2007 This is indeed a tough call...I'd have to say that it's a tie between Heather Frith's "These Walls" ep 12" and the god machine "one last laugh in a place of dying" 12"....both hard to find and relatively obscure...now, don't think that I am all a pretentious snob or something like that because they are "obscure"...oh no...just two favorite artists whose records are way out of print and hard to find...The important thing about the Heather Frith record is that right after putting that 12" out, she changed her last name to Nova... Its one of my favorite records of all time, so the fact that its the rarest of the pressings (aside from tests) only makes it that much better. Weezer's Pinkerton (first press on DGC, with fanclub only lyric booklet and signed B&W 8"x10") and Foo Fighters "There Is Nothing Left To Lose". not rare at all, but i love those albums to death.
