Some Cheap Vinyl at Amazon

Recommended Posts

https://www.amazon.com/Double-Dare-Waterparks/dp/B071VMVNBY/ref=sr_1_1_twi_lp__1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500862637&sr=8-1&keywords=waterparks+double+dare+vinyl

My girlfriend just ordered "Double Dare" by Waterparks from that link. It sold out pretty quick everywhere else and flippers are trying to make bank off of them, It says there's only 4 more in stock, so grab it if you want it. It says colored vinyl, but I don't know what variant it is. Don't pay record flipping prices.

Looks like that Ella/Louis set is on the Jazz Track label, which means it's one of those questionable public domain releases probably sourced from CD. I mean for $10, why not, but still.

I have the C. Adderly Something Else album from that label, and it sounds incredible. Really nice press too; completely flat, glossy black vinyl in a poly lined sleeve. Well worth the $14, imo.

Had a big mail day and realized that the 90's hip hop classics deals - The Chronic, Doggystyle and All Eyez On Me - are all proudly 'Digitally Remastered'. I guess I should've figured out beforehand. Still, I probably could never pay full price in a store for a new press of these so it's good enough I guess.

I thank all of you for your vigilance - I've copped some very nice deals thanks to the VC members who keep this alive.  Strange that Amazon suddenly has a bunch of these reissues though, it looks like these were pressed in 2001? They held up pretty well if they're really that old.

To be fair, I'd imagine most of those classic 90's hip-hop albums had pretty garbage sounding original copies, and any recent copies are certainly not all analog masters either.

Built To Spill - Keep It Like A Secret 2xLP for $12.20 Prime — http://amzn.to/2unvczN

One of the best guitar-rock albums of the '90s. If you don't own this, fix that now.

Thank you for this. Great pressing, clean, crisp sound. There was so much good music back then they weren't on my radar. This album is fantastic. Making up for lost time.

Plus it's kind of silly to worry about analog/digital stuff when most of the music was created with digital samples and drum machines. IMO anyway...
