You heard it here first... to celebrate the re-release of Queens Of The Stone Age eponymous 1st album, Rekords Rekords are releasing a VERY limited edition 7” of How To Handle A Rope (A Lesson In The Lariat) backed with Avon on Monday 28th February 2011. It will be sold exclusively here. It’s limited to 1000 copies, all individually numbered, so we all know what that means; sleep on it and you haven’t got a hope in Hell of owning a copy, unless you feel okay about forking out some stupid money on eBay.

I honestly love this band, but there is no reason for this single to exist, especially given the repress of the s/t LP.

The album has been remastered and both tracks on the 7" are the remastered versions.

The album is available to rpe-order on Dominos for £20 but Amazon have it for £14.99 inc free shipping.

Great value way of doing things if you're in the UK and given that it's only marginally more expensive to get CD and LP from amazon.com as a US customer, the lure of the cd instead of codes for just $2-$3 more is irresistible.
