Doing a clearout. Gotta lot stuff that's been sitting around and I need to clear it out to get new jamz in the shop. I've never done a 50% off sale on EVERYTHING in the store before and in all likelihood it'll be a long time before you see it again. I am going to lose money on some of this stuff, but needs must when the devil drives, and the devil is caning it at the moment.

Sale is through the bigcartel store only. Enter the code FIDDY at checkout and yr discount will be applied.

Now, international shipping is a minefield at best, so what we will do here is:

1. Place yr order and pay the money as bigcartel says you to do. I have only very limited qty's so to ensure you dont miss out, best to place ye order quick-like. (Bigcartel shipping calculations are impossible to get accurate so we have to do it this way)

2. I will pack the order up and contact you before sending it out with a confirmation of what your ACTUAL shipping charge will be. This will, in most cases, mean you've paid too much through the bigcartel process, in which case I will REFUND any difference between the shipping you've paid and the actual charge it will be.

(i can calculate this at home, so your refund will come pretty quick after you pay)

3. IF you STILL do not like the shipping charge, I will gladly cancel the whole order and REFUND you EVERYTHING you've paid.

Help me clear some space, brothers and sisters.

Three new Twiceremoved Records releases in stock now. Very limited qtys, some now sold out at source. $7 each + post. Samples of tunes can be found on each listing.

Benjamin Dauer - The Pace of Which (/50)
A collection of Ambience laced with Field Recordings that are lush and reveal depth.

Easychord - So Lifeless, Sometimes (/50)
Easychord makes a texturally minimal, lush and overflowing sort of ambient music, droney, with use of tape loops music defined with marine mood whereof the favourite format is mid-length suites and large wavy soundscapes composed of drone textures.

Ophion - Sacrosant (/100)
Ophion is a UK duo who's previous album "Pallor Absentis" came out on the Diametric label. It contained an almost 19 minute BVDub remix which will give you an idea of the sound terrain that this duo work in. Lush, dubby Ambience.

El Eje Del Mäl/Inquiry Last Scenery split 7"

7 inches and 5 ripping tracks of skramz - 2 from Spain's El Eje Del Mäl and 3 from Malaysia's Inquiry Last Scenery. Solid vinyl and bright sleeves with lyrics so you can scream along!

http://thearchipelagorises.bigcartel.com/product/el-eje-del-mal-inquiry-last-scenery-split-7

Fanzui Xiangfa 7"

This is the first full 7″ from the Chinese fastcore band Fanzui Xiangfa. It’s six tracks of energetic and political hardcore.

http://thearchipelagorises.bigcartel.com/product/fan-zui-xiang-fa-self-titled-7

Daighila/Grinding Halt Split 7"

Daighila from Malaysia deliver two tracks of early Envy inspired hardcore mixed with some Neil Perry in the mix. You know the stuff when screamo wasn’t a curse word yet and this sort of music was delivered by punks. Well. It’s still around. Hectic, fast, melodic and with passion.
This will be Grinding Halt’s 2nd split 7” this year and here they deliver their longest and heaviest track to date. Three riffs is all it takes really. Think Eyehategod with heavy distorted vocals. Blunt and without any thrills.

http://thearchipelagorises.bigcartel.com/product/daighila-grinding-halt-split-7

Nick van Breda / zzzound split 7"

Finally, after years of plugging away at their solo endeavours – Nick under his own name, and Dave under the zzzounds moniker – the two team up for a split release on 7” vinyl via Tenzenmen Records.
Each contributing one track, both inspired by Dave’s move into the basement of Nick’s house, and recorded by Nick over a weekend in a beach house on the New South Wales south coast, this split shows two unique approaches to the solo songwriter mode with a guitar, a voice, and little more.

http://thearchipelagorises.bigcartel.com/product/nick-van-breda-zzzounds-split-7

噪音 Noise 2CD

The value of CD (or CDR, vinyl etc) is not just as the medium of music but how it builds a relationship with people. This is a series of guerrilla publishing - it's awaking more sounds.

Very difficult to get, this compilation.

We have the three latest releases from blue tapes

blue four - Laurent Chambert / The Fractal Skulls - Split

Laurent combines field recordings with flickering patterns of electronic sound that are both grid-like and strangely euphoric. Laurent’s music is intrinsically ‘plugged-in’ to his environment, whether it’s the bustling cityscapes of Paris described by When The Cat... or the wells of ambient silence in his improvisations recorded in the French countryside. Chris makes delicious minimal synth-structures under the name The Fractal Skulls. Influenced by the god-twins of John Cage+Steve Reich and Cluster+Harmonia, the music of The Fractal Skulls is unashamedly pretty, full of clockwork analogue pulses and holy repetition.

blue five - LostPoet - Acapellas 4 The Culture

"While some critics are bemoaning the death of rap and hip-hop, enigmatic Anaheim rapper-poet LostPoet has chosen to embrace the art form with Acapellas 4 The Culture. Like his previous releases, this one too focuses on the spoken verse and lyricism, now stripped of the relentless ear candy that is de rigueur for hip-hop in recent years, with a flow that seems fearless and uncluttered by beats, samples and sound effects."Known for being different and unconventional, LostPoet's latest offering won't be up everyone's street but those who have had enough of the autotune and over-production in today's tunes may find this a breath of fresh air." - Press Association

http://thearchipelagorises.bigcartel.com/product/lostpoet-acapellas-4-the-culture-cassette'>http://thearchipelagorises.bigcartel.com/product/lostpoet-acapellas-4-the-culture-cassette

blue six - Keller - Keller

“Blistering guitar noise oscillating within some aggressive rock riffage cycled through kaleidoscopic variations in a concrete wall of pounding metallic magma. Electronic emissions induce astral projections as you blast off to the furthest reaches of time into a swirling void and are torn into a sea of particulate matter. Play it loud!” - KFJC

Chui Wan – White Night CD $15

… lush arrangements of guitar, keyboard, viola, other assorted instruments and random sound samples often eschew reliable melodies and vocal harmonies in favor of occasional passages of minimal drone or maximal sonic layers.

Fun – 1/3 7” $10

1st release of the trilogy

Fun are a band from Helsinki, Finland. During their ten year existence, they’ve shared stages with The Jesus Lizard, Nomeansno, Polvo and Deerhoof. They’ve recorded their second album, “Zu-Pa!” at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio, with the great man at the helm.

Beer and unbridled ferocity. Meeting the opposite sex by falling onto them in a bar, vomiting and uninhibited. Giving birth to yourself through noise, sweat and hammered oblivion.

Kosmonaut - Green cassette

GREEN is a continuation of sonic explorations navigated by Kösmonaut and is an allusion to a previous release (Kösmonaut I or unofficially the BLUE LP). This series is influenced by the sun swallowing days of proto-electronica and intense vintage synthesizer ecstasies of yesteryear. GREEN is an untamed beast, vastly different from previous Kösmonaut releases; with plenty of subtle touches of archaic and primitive electro-house synthesis and slowly-evolving drone germs.

Released in a limited-edition of 50 on cassette by Avant Archive, April 2012

http://thearchipelagorises.bigcartel.com/product/kosmonaut-green-cassette

Oliwa - Naturalia CD

Twice Removed is proud to announce the release of Oliwa “Naturalia” the 24th on the Twice Removed micro label. Oliwa comes from Argentina with previous releases on the Swedish Zeon Light Kassett label. Oliwa specialises in great Synth music of the highest order, having a foot in both the past and contemporary scenes. This release comes in a folded 310 gsm card sleeve in a clear wallet in a numbered edition of 50 copies with each copy coming with a “Naturalia” badge.

Today we have some new stock (finally....) in the shop. Some pearlers too. Psychic Violence have supplied us with vinyl copies of the latest Ash Borer 12" EP 'Bloodlands' and the self-titled full length from Ruin Lust (featuring the Fell Voices drummer). Two albums of utter heaviness, but within that realm, two completely different beasts.

Ash Borer continues to outshine many of their contemporaries release after release and 'Bloodlands' continues this search for black metal perfection. A stunning release. If one was not familiar with Ash Borer, 'Bloodlands' is certainly worthy of the beginning of the journey. Likewise, for AB fans, this is obviously, essential.

Ruin Lust features the drummer from Fell Voices. Fell Voices is another of current crop of forward looking black metal bands, but Ruin Lust is not that. It is probably the single heaviest, sickest, downright bludgeoning record we've ever stocked. You've been warned.

http://thearchipelagorises.bigcartel.com/product/ash-borer-bloodlands-12
http://thearchipelagorises.bigcartel.com/product/ruin-lust-ruin-lust-lp

As a further treat for you vinyl lovers out there, we have one, I repeat, ONE copy of 'Bloodlands' on the limited grey colour. 200 of these were pressed and they are long gone from the source labels (Gilead Media and Psychic Violence). Don't pay silly ebay and discogs prices; you can buy this copy from me for the same price as the standard black version. There are no holds or reservations for the grey vinyl. First come, first served. If you want to collect this from me in-person, I will refund the postage you pay during checkout.

We'll be getting the latest Cosmic Dead LP from Sound of Cobra! If you're a fan, or have been following TCD, you know how quick their vinyl sells out. And you know the ridiculous prices they command when they do sell out from the label.

We'll be getting a fair few of these, however almost half our allocation is already reserved. They'll be $AU23 + postage (shipping for folks outside Australia is absolutely horrendous, in case yr wondering. Prolly not worth it to be honest; buy direct from SoC)

Read a review and check out a clip here
