oakland Posted June 26, 2007 Share Posted June 26, 2007 I got mine yesterday and it's nice. The vinyl is the strangest color I've ever seen. Kind of greenish gold with translucent swirl. I'm not a crazy colored vinyl nut, so I don't really care what color it is. The packaging however is very nice and the album, if you haven't heard it, is awesome. Compared to other old bands that have reformed recently and aren't too impressive (I'm looking at you Damnation), 108 is still brilliant. It's neat looking and weird, but it is NOT "gorgeous." hahah. Sorry, that's how I feel. Love the record and all, but it's a funky color no doubt. xlovecolouredx Posted June 27, 2007 Share Posted June 27, 2007 i'm a fan of Planes Mistaken For Stars. i think Vinyl's colour of Mercy is not beautiful enough. i think it's good concept that all colourd that appear on disc it taken for same shade and colour that Illustrator (Chris Taylor...i'm not sure) use for created album's art work... anyway,i still love Planes Mistaken For Stars and Check is nice guy.
