What books are you reading?

loved Sirens of Titan and loved Galapagos even more. Vonnegut is one of my favorite authors without a doubt.

To add to the thread, I'm about to start The Long Dark Tea-time of the Soul by Douglas Adams

I started Galapagos a while back and got bored and put it down and moved on, I'll have to go back and finish it.

I just got Timequake, Palm Sunday and God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater in, so I need to plow through those first.

...this is kind of a shameless plug, but me and Aaron/Team Science released a New Bruises 7" a few years ago and one of the songs on it is and ode to KV, with the lyrics mostly being phrased in Vonnegut quotes...it's called "God Bless You, Mr. Vonnegut (So it goes)".

I'd never read any Vonnegut up until that point and that song got me hooked and he's become one of my favorite authors, if not my absolute favorite at this point.

check the song out here:

Read Death of Bunny Munro so I guess I'm going backwards. Great so far thou.

I read Bunny Monroe a while ago and even though I love Nick Cave I wasn't really into it. Did you like it?

I have the one above as well but had a hard time getting into it when I first got. It's been collectiong dust in my bookshelf, I really should give it another try.

Currently reading these:

Yeah I wasn't crazy about Death of Bunny Munro. I didnt get into it till half way through the book but and the ass saw the angel has a much more interesting story line so far that is. Nick Cave is a damn good story teller. I've actually been meaning to read some Henry Rollins stuff but haven't got around to it. Solipsist is seeing me down from my book shelve.
