i would say just open it. i had a maybe ill catch fire that was unopened till about last month. i dont think seeled vinyl (unless theyre were no variations) holds its value any more than mint opened vinyl (only opened to check color/variations). plus, for me anyways, it was interesting/fun to see which labels mine had. i d say jusy split the shrink wrap but leave it on. if youre hoping to someday get the most for it then collectors are going to want to know which labels it has anyways.

At this point, sealed copies go for as much as opened copies on eBay as long as they're in good condition -- I'd say open it just to check it out (plus it's one of the best punk records of the past decade so rock that shit!).

My copy has the clock labels.

I think I might sell my Godamnit soon, it's still sealed.

There should be an Alkaline Trio vinyl box set, that would be a nice collection.

depending on what would be in it, it could be flippin' huge and regardless would be quite awesome.

I was thinking just all the Asian Man releases.

tottally got a copy of "for your lungs only" for a $1 at a record store in Michigan.

SCORED.

please tell me that was like 5-7 years ago or something

I have family down in Arizona, and I remember we went down to visit them maybe in 2000 or something? And I went to a Zia Records and saw a copy of "I Lied My Face Off" on CD for $2, and I DIDN'T BUY IT because I already owned one. UGH.

i don't own any alkaline trio albums on vinyl because i don't really know why. they've been one of my favourite bands for years; anyway though, i would definitely buy a box set.
