RustyShackelford
Yes, it’s true what you’ve heard. The new NOFX full-length, Self Entitled, is finally here! NOFX fans, steady yourselves, cause this album is fucking legit. We’re not just saying that because our boss is in the band either, this album is a serious ass kicker. Now, normally when we announce an album, we put up a pre-order at the same time, but not today. The thing is there are still some details to iron out before our pre-order goes up next week. We’ve got some colorful ideas about vinyl, but the options are weighing on us so heavily (have you ever lifted 180 grams? that shit’s heavy) that we couldn’t make up our minds quite yet. There’s also the issue of a DVD (exclusive to our webstore) with some unfinished business from They’ve Actually Gotten Worse Live. Not to mention, working on designs for fashion conscious NOFX fans ain’t exactly easy. As you can see, that’s a lotta strands to keep in our heads, man. Luckily we’re adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep our minds limber. Check back in with us next week to get all the fascinating details about the extras and to secure your pre-order. 1. 72 Hookers 2. I Believe in Goddess 3. Ronnie & Mags 4. She Didn’t Lose Her Baby 5. Secret Society 6. I, Fatty 7. Cell Out 8. Down With the Ship 9. My Sycophant Others 10. This Machine is 4 11. I’ve Got One Jealous Again, Again 12. burntwolf
heh, i thought the cover was pretty terrible...in a long line of terrible nofx cover art
RustyShackelford
i really dont like the cover. it looks like a bootleg DVD.
jerseydave77
I'm keeping my expectations very very low so that I can be pleasantly surprised by average or above. The last few releases have been terrible and I keep wondering why I buy them. I might be having a hard time accepting that NOFX have jumped the shark but I'm drawing the line at this LP. If it's bad then they should just be a touring nostalgia act like all aging punk bands.
toxicity
i really dont like the cover. it looks like a bootleg DVD. I like the cover, but I can't disagree with this. Stoked to pick this up though.

trevorm
I dunno. I must be crazy because every time I see people rank the last three LP's it usually Coaster, WIWC, War on Errorism. My ranking would be the exact opposite. Coaster was pretty much front to back awful and WoE was solid, fun and had some purpose.
RustyShackelford
I like them all. However coaster probably is my least favorite release of theres. But I still like it
rochambo
I haven't really cared for a NOFX album since Punk in Drublic. They've had a few good songs here and there, but to me, Punk in Drublic was the summit.

burntwolf
i think my favorite is so long and thanks for the all the shoes i think all their releases going back to Maximum RNR have been C+ to B+ in the context of when each album came out...never have been my favorites, but never thought they were terrible... but i think i never fully connected w/ nofx b/c of the lamer lyrical subject matter and the fact that they seemed to be the only punk band the jocks and frat dudes liked... billya
Stoked to hear a sequel to a song off of one of my favorites by them!
throwgncpr
I haven't been all that into the last couple albums (I seriously think Coaster is an appropriate name. I hate that album), but I'm hopeful for this one.

kidcrust
It looks like they will probably do a t-shirt bundle or two. Hope I can afford this.
bowserhound
If the B side from the last 7" is batting cleanup on the LP, I am hella pessimistic on this one...
