danny Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 I've been playing with this on and off all this morning and I'm still having issues with pictures. Discogs images aren't automatically appearing when I add to collection anymore and I'm also having pictures randomly disappear. I was just told discogs was having a small issues with API images so that is why your having issues. I apologies but it should be working now. Like I said above once you add it to your list our systems take over so the images and content have no ties to discogs. They are a pretty new company who offers a free API which seems to be the worlds largest for music titles so cut them some slack =) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pretty cool if that's right. That is EXACTLY how we built the system. We are all building a master super duper collection system! When I add an album you all can just add it to your own lists. This helps build credible content for anyone to add to their list. I agree we need a pre order or incoming list. Maybe it will just be like the Have, Want or Sell/Trade list where its just its own list. We are working on a better plan for adding items faster with a way better flow. Remember this is why we launched the beta! Thanks and keep the input coming! geezfools Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 Yeah, I did that yesterday for the gifts from enola. I also added all four variants so if anyone searches for them, they'll pop up. One other thing I'd like to see when I look at "my collection" is not only the variant color, but the pressing info. So maybe when you're inputting the album info, you can add color variant, pressing info and then additional info such as "tour variant" or "all copies came with a smashed penny". Or perhaps you join the two and force people to add color variant and pressing numbers in one input box. "/250 translucent red" I dunno, as a collector, I'd like to see pressing numbers AND colors. I don't know if I will ever up my whole list since I have 2500+ records and that would take a lot of time. It's a nice feature though. Good job!
