Among The Leaves is now my most regrettable miss of 2012.  i don't know how it passed me by.  happy to be able to get it on vinyl.  super excited for the album leaf collab, too.  two favorites from a similar period in my life.  i would have like to order both at the same time for fear of missing out.

OK. Not exactly Sunk Kil Moon but kind of The Album Leaf related. I just thought someone may like this - http://tinytelephones.bandcamp.com/

The album in available for download at the moment but they said the lp should be up on their site soon.

From their site - http://tinytelephonesmusic.com/

About us

Tiny Telephones formed in late 2011 to write the album "The Heavenly Child" which has been called a cross between Explosions in the Sky and M83. They worked with multiple engineers on mixing the record including Jimmy LaValle of The Album Leaf. When recording the album Patrick Heaney and Aaron Blomberg didn't want to take a conventional approach to tracking, "we set up a small mobile recording rig to take with us to different spots to get different sounds", says Patrick. "We recorded some guitars in the woods, some big drums in abandoned warehouses, random sounds at the train station and on boats! A whole bunch of different stuff", Aaron adds. The rest of the album was done at Patrick Heaney's studio Secret Cedar Recording Studio and engineered by both members.

Members:

Patrick Heaney
Aaron Blomberg

Live:

Patrick Heaney - Guitar/Rhodes/Synth
Aaron Blomberg - Guitar/Mandolin
Marco Perez - Bass
Alia Jyawook - Strings/Guitar
Jason Hooper - Drums
