Not very sexy for some, but, like The Visitor, a must have for me and some of the strongest music Mondo/Death Waltz has released. Fyi, Deathwaltz confirmed the other day that the Twin Peaks art for the vinyl release has been approved by Lynch. I guess we should be hearing something about it sometime soon! I will stop just shy of holding my breath. I truly wonder if we'll get them this year. We used a new plant for this release and unfortunately it has been somewhat of a struggle to get this project finished in the timely manner we are accustomed to. That would be enough, except when it finally arrived to us this week we were shocked to discover that, due to a human error somewhere within the production process, the request for "Transparent Red" was changed to "Transparent". Rather than delay the record for another 8 weeks, we have decided to accept the fact that the vinyl is clear and not clear red. Despite the error, the clear version is still the limited version, as the retail version will be black. The whole package does look really handsome (see photo) and more importantly the clear vinyl sounds very crisp indeed. We wanted to give you a heads up as you have been very patient waiting for your record. While ultimately the blame stops with ourselves, we can assure you we will not be deviating from the plants we have used for the last few years. With that being said, this title will be shipping this week and we are excited to get this fantastic soundtrack into your hands. Thank you so much for your continued patience and support.
