kyacrash
Horrible thing to happen to anyone. I have friends who are friends with Tom, and have always heard nothing but good things about that guy. I watched Suburban Scum from the back of the room at TIHC, and cringed hearing Karebear say shit like "punch someone in the face, I love that shit". As if that type of attitude isn't bad enough, apparently he's the kinda guy who jumps someone half his size over "pit beef". I have a few SubScum records, and I'm selling them and donating the money to Tom. Anyone else who wants to donate can do so here: http://www.gofundme.com/4c7qgw97qs mappingtheyears

Endserenading
Just wanted to share this. I used to frequent hardcore shows a few years ago. I was a photographer and captured so many great bands. My shining moment was having a live shot i took of Power Trip end up in the inner sleeve of their full length. Sadly my name was not credited even tho Riley insists he gave everyone my name and info. Still super rad and im happy i had so many great times. Texas Hardcore is pretty rad. But i havent kept up with hardcore since 2013 so i have no idea whats hot these days haha. Endserenading
Anyone else hear about what went down with Tom Alderson (Crosscheck, Drown), Ian Adams (Heavy Chains), Karebear (Suburban Scum? https://twitter.com/jordanxmckinney/status/627561952810635264 I had a hard time reading through that. No one in the world deserves that. Absolutely fucking horrid. Heavy Chains is off the Life and Death tour and Suburban Scum is no longer playing the Back To School Jam, but that isn't enough. Tom deserves justice. Fuck both of those bands and fuck you if you continue to support them. Here's to hoping Tom makes a full and speedy recovery. As i stated in my previous post i havent kept up with hardcore for a few years. I know this is slightly off subject but its crazy seeing how popular Drown is now. Their vocalist used to come play with his old band here in san antonio all the time and they crashed at my apartments a few times. Idk it just blows my mind seeing how far people go in hardcore. I remember Jordan when he was just a kid playing shitty drums haha.
hallowken78
Definitely a shitty story regarding what reportedly went down at that TIHC aftershow.
causeforalarm
That's seriously such a fucked up story. That literally could have happened to anyone that moshes at shows. And I have a bunch of records I've been meaning to get rid of, I figured this was a good reason to do it. I'll be donating a bunch of the money from these to Tom's Go Fund Me page. If you see something that interests you shoot me a message. For most of these I'm not looking for a lot of money, and I'll be throwing free records into some packages as well. If it doesn't say what colour it is, it's black. 7"Afflictive Nature - Judged, Punished, Erased (red w/ black splatter)American Nightmare - s/t (white)Beartrap - Fueled By Self Hate (blue)Black Flag - TV PartyBracewar - s/tCeremony - He-God-Has Favored Our Undertakings (grey)Caught In A Crowd - The Fight (white)Caught In A Crowd - The FightDefeater - Live @ TIHCDisapproval - El Monte Youth Authority (mustard)DNA - s/tDown To Nothing - Greetings From Richmond, Virginia (yellow)Down To Nothing - More Greetings From Richmond, Virginia (red)Easy Way Out - s/tEasy Way Out - s/t (last show cover)Easy Way Out - s/t (record release cover)Easy Way Out - s/t (test press)Expire - Sink With Me (black/white split)Government Warning - ArrestedGrave Maker - Demolition (green, tour cover)Have Heart - You Can't Go Home Again (yellow)Haymaker - Let Them RotIn My Eyes - Live In PhillyIvy League - Summer Sessions (clear)Like Rats - s/t (green)Losin' It - Danger Zone (purple)Losin' It - Danger Zone (dark green, transition color)Losin' It - Danger Zone (maroon, transition color)Losin' It - Danger Zone (red)Losin' It - Danger Zone (yellow)Losin' It - Danger Zone (blue)Losin' It - Danger Zone (yellow, RSD 2014 cover)Losin' It - Danger Zone (pre-order cover)Losin' It - Danger Zone (test press)Malfunction - Finding My Peace (clear)Mammoth Grinder - Obsessed With DeathMinor Threat - Salad DaysNo Warning - s/t (tour cover)ON - Control EP (red, record release cover)Outbreak - You Make Us Sick (yellow/black swirl)Red Death - s/tRotting Out - Vandalized (white)Rude Awakening - Dragging the Anchor (clear)Set Foot - Aging (clear)Shipwreck - Mirage (red/green)Shook Ones / Death Is Not Glamorous - split (Rain Fest cover)Step Aside - Reaching Out (black)Terror - Keepers of the Faith (green)Terror - Hard Lessons / Only the Devil Knows (gold)Test of Time - Inclusion (grey)Trapped Under Ice - Stay Cold (white/blue splatter, pre-order cover)Verse - Story Of A Free Man (clear)Withdrawal - Faith, Flesh & Blood (grey, tour cover) x212"All Pigs Must Die - s/t (180g black, gatefold)All Pigs Must Die - God Is WarAll Pigs Must Die - Nothing Violates This NatureAnother Breath - Mill City (blue)Bolt Thrower - In Battle There Is No Law (white w/ black splatter)Bolt Thrower - Those Once LoyalBurning Love - Rotten Thing To SayCareer Suicide - s/t (yellow)Carry On - A Life Less Plagued (gold, gatefold cover)Common Cause - A Statement of Purpose (blue)Converge - Jane Doe (2xLP)Converge - No HeroesConverge - Axe To FallConverge - All We Love We Leave Behind (2xLP)Crusades - Perhaps You Deliver... deadreckoning
The new protester 7" is now up at BBB. I dig these guys - one of my favorite current dc bands. It great to see a SXE band that doesn't look like starting members of the varsity crosscountry team. You can stream it: http://bbbrecords.bandcamp.com/album/no-identityand buy the 7" in the BBB webstore - 300 white, 700 black. emacs
Out of Breath Records
Saw this, was pretty alright, also last week got to see Francis Harold + the Holograms / Nasa Space Universe. Kris Kerk (FHH) was getting gnarly and swinging chains and fucking people up, fun times.

I prefer my straight edge hardcore to be made by dudes who look like members of a cross country varsity team though. But this Protester 7" does rip. I grabbed that live Fury 7" as well. dirac
Saw BURN last night in London. Was incredible to say the least, and definitely one of my favorite gigs of the year so far. Also picked up one of the exclusive, london only purple 7"s they had there.

Got a spare one of these for trades.

randomfortunepa
So INFEST are playing two shows in Brooklyn this month. Who's going?! I am going to snag tickets for Saturday as much as I'd love to see them at Vitus because Boston Strangler are opening.
