But to be fair....even if the one game is a shutout - that's only 2 guaranteed points - if you play 2/3 goalies for the week - there's a potential of 6+ games, you'll definitely win more than once and may even get a shutout to tie or add. Last year, one of the points was "saves", so before that was gone, it wasn't really advantageous to play one game as your goalie. When we took that out, it opened this door where a good game could get you at least 50% of your possible goalie points. Why should a goalie who gives up 5 goals but has 30 saves(85.7%) receive more points then a goalie who gives up 1 goal and has 19 saves(95%)?
