tokimedo
Still the best assurance when trading & selling records. agreed. goes without saying that its worth the extra $1. also, according to that sign, its def not included in media mail. im pretty sure it actually has never been in the past either. Guest
i was there saturday... those signs were up too. it wasn't included in my media mail.
abovetheearth
My PO didn't have this sign. And when I added DC, he didn't mention the change or anything. I'll buy this every time for .90¢. I do like the tracking number on receipt now.

thebiglebowski
What's the average value of a package you send, $20? And call it a dollar everytime you send with confirmation. You think more than 1 in 20 packages doesn't arrive? And the fact that you can still lose a paypal claim with delivery conf makes it worse. Lose out in the long run if you always use it. If you print your own labels and it's only 10 cents or whatever, then it probably makes monetary sense. I don't do that, though. I only use it when I don't really trust who I am sending to (a buyer with low feedback or post count).
bigbruise
Noticed this today when I sent some stuff out. I don't think it was included with my media mail purchase. She did mention something about it being included with certain priority shipments.
abovetheearth
Hmmm. Maybe my PO didn't print it then. I always had to go online and enter a code they printed out on it. It's a really small and poorly run joint.
tokimedo
express, priority, and parcel post (now standard post) all get it included. i also sent a shirt first class today and it was included. so that was weird.
Brock N Roll
Its not free with media mail. If they included it free when you shipped it that way then the clerk wasn't familiar with the change yet Of course we had to bump up the price a bit, how else are we going to get out of debt haha
somethingvinyl
It's cool it's added to the three priciest services. Only seems reasonable.

Brock N Roll
Close branches and deliver mail 3 times a week Branches are closing. They'll get rid of Saturday delivery eventually. I think its inevitable
tokimedo
PO closes at 1 pm saturdays already....
Brock N Roll
PO closes at 1 pm saturdays already.... It varies from office to office but I mean they'll cut out mail delivery completely on Saturdays eventually. Even when the lobby closes at 1, carriers are still out until 315 or after
maneatingcow
The day this changed I was there with 20+ packages all with little green slips attatched to them. I was annoyed that was all for naught.
controlthebleeding
i love my post office, my clerks let me know of all the changes, and what not. he never has to ask me what's in the box anymore because he knows it's records and just marks it as media with confirm. hipsterasfolk
Call me dumb but I thought this was always the case, my # has always been on my receipts within the last year or so and it cost like $3.57 to ship a package via Media Mail. Maybe the office by my place of employment was a pilot office for this?
maneatingcow
With confirmation of .90 I'm up to averaging $4.25 or so for media mail in my last couple bunches of records sold. Trying to find contact info for ebay to give feedback to boost the cost of media mail shipping to $4.50 - $5.
controlthebleeding
i always send records with confirmation, so i think the price of media didn't really go up much for me to notice, except that i dont have to fucking write all those damn slips anymore. FUCK YES!!!!!
