First episode was (appropriately) a little bleak, but they managed to get everyone back together within about 10 minutes, and I think this season will (again, appropriately) take weird dark new directions, as everyone is back because they essentially failed at life for a second time. Guest Posted January 24, 2014 Share Posted January 24, 2014 I think I've been too bitter towards glover for leaving, because I did not expect MY EMOTIONS to get so worked up last night. As awesome as a greendale-wide game of hot lava is, it's just another game of paintball. So I was a little worried in the first few minutes- but they nailed it. Hit all the right notes, and sent Troy off very appropriately. Man that got deep, too. Just love that the "clones" can continue on, while the OG Troy & Abed/study group will continue on their way in the "afterlife". Beautiful. Especially in the way that clone Troy can handle levaar burton. Also, there was a period of the episode where I honestly believed that we may have been trolled all along and that he wasn't going anywhere.
