"The writing on the wall", or "the hand writing on the wall", or "the writing is on the wall" or "Mene Mene", is an idiom implying that a (usually) negative event is easily predictable based on the current situation. Often, the event is seen as hard to avert. A direness similar to an "impending doom" can be implied.

i've since listened about a dozen times, and even though i can't shake that, i still really dig this song.. the tone, the tempo, its overall energy. really strong stuff.

This might be the best thing this band has ever done...

In response to that shit head jacking up the price of AIDS medication, they're having a 48 hour sale on their webstore with proceeds going to Whitman-Walker Health in DC.

For the next 48 hours we will be offering a 20% discount on all of the Electricity is Dangerous tee shirts. During that period, ALL proceeds from those items will be donated towards AIDS charity.

We hope to be able to offer charitable opportunity like this throughout the future, and we also hope that you will consider purchasing these particular items before any others on our site.

The charity we have chosen for these shirts is WHITMAN WALKER HEALTH in Washington DC. We chose Whitman because of it's excellent reputation and particularly for their close work with the HIV and LGBT community in DC.
