Seems crazy that there would already be info on it 5 months out if they didn't have something planned sooner. I think July aligns perfectly with the festivals they'll be playing. Exactly how they rolled out My God Is The Sun. Your avatar reminds me - I'm dying to hear an announcement for new Monkeys. They're my second favorite behind Queens. negavinyl
There's nothing more exciting than a new Queens album.
Canuckle
The second half of LC stands up to any stretch of QOTSA songs in their catalog. Outside of Rated R and SFTD, it's the next one I reach for. Can't wait to see what they come up, and if the events of late 2015 have shaped any of it. jeromium
Oh, new QOTSA! Exciting. I thought Like Clockwork was really good, I agree it's been their best since SFTD.
Die Laughing
Add me in to being somewhat underwhelmed by ...Like Clockwork. Don't get me wrong, it was a good album, but down near the bottom of the QOTSA catalogue for me. Not to mention, all that time off and you only give us 10 tracks? Weak! Still like their self titled best.
azvd
It's a bit too dense and it almost loses itself sometimes, somewhat a Desert Sessions with major production. I think I Sat By The Ocean stands out as the best song (ironically, the most straight song along with My God Is The Sun) but I also enjoy the slow songs. Josh found the right mood with them. daegor
Man, you guys have the weirdest opinions. 10 track albums = awesome. Like Clockwork is not their shortest album. (IMHO) Like Clockwork is a super cohesive album, I find it flows very well from track to track, and it feels like everything fits together very nicely. tvham and DecayToDeath

Shortest by amount of tracks, it is, but timewise Rated R is like three minutes shorter, yeah. LC is such an excellent album. S/T, LtP, and SftD all day long, but I'm really pumped for anything coming after an album as stellar as LC.
