deletedunknown
To be released 16th September 2013 (UK/Europe) / 29th October 2013 (N.America) on Superball Music. I'm not sure if Superball will be producing a NAmerican vinyl edition. They have handled ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of the Dead releases so there may be hope. In the meantime the record can be preordered here: http://omerch.eu/shop/65daysofstatic/ PRISMS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geMmsM43N4Y

cwhitmuzik
One of my writers who's a huge fanboy of these guys just got this today. I'll relay his thoughts to ya'll when he lets me know what he thinks.

Derek™
Album is going to be good. 65DOS have been on a steady incline with each album, in my opinion, and I love every bit of Wild Light I've been exposed to thus far. Price was gnarly, but I didn't want to risk missing out on a copy stateside. The autographs should be icing on the cake.
cwhitmuzik
Writer's thoughts: first thoughts: i like it. not as immediate as WWEA was for me, but it'll probably be a grower. sound is heavy on electronics but much less clean/streamlined than WWEA. more in line with the noisy, static-heavy work of Fall Of Math. i kinda dig that. hearing a lot of influence from the Silent Running soundtrack they did, too. radiatorhums
I dig these guys and liked the more electronic direction they took on WWEA (I love that artwork too). Silent Running never grabbed me, but I consider soundtracks to be different than a studio album. Anyway, I'm excited for this. Band is great. Derek™
I agree, Silent Runner didn't do much for me at all. But I went into it knowing that it wouldn't be a true 65DOS album... that is, I lowered my expectations quite a bit. But Wild Light will be a whole different ballgame. Burkazoid
Very excited for this - loved WWEA and when I saw them on that tour they blew my tiny little mind. Shame they aren't playing Ireland on the next tour. Anyway, have this preordered with huge anticipation.
Portsi
I hope that "One Time for All Time" will see a vinyl release some day. My favourite album of theirs. New song is good! Will pre-order now.
Portsi
Just wanna say that this album is amazing. I'm glad that they have returned into a more post rockish sound after "We were exploding anyway". The album has gotten super positive reviews too. Please support these guys! ExtraFox
There's a clear vinyl press of this: http://www.omerch.eu/shop/65daysofstatic/proddetail.php?prod=Omch_65DAYS_wildclearLP Couldn't find anything about it there or on Discogs.
toomanyrecords
Any way to get it from a US distro?
ExtraFox
Any way to get it from a US distro? I couldn't find anywhere else selling it. The only information I could find on it at all was the fact that it is for sale. No Discogs entry and no extra information on the merch site listing. ejc625
So I had no clue they had a new record coming out. It's a soundtrack for the video game, No Man's Sky. 65daysofstatic - No Man's Sky: Music For An Infinite Universe. cool boxset 2xLP (Black, 180g) 2xLP (dark red/baby blue?, 180g) w/ alternate artwork Edited August 3, 2016 by ejc625
dantheriver
^ there's a couple different options over at Laced Records, also (including a 4LP version). https://www.lacedrecords.com/collections/all
radiatorhums
I'm not a huge game player, but I was reading something about this and I noticed 65DOS did the soundtrack. Completely slipped my mind after I finished the article Looking forward to hearing this (and the game intrigues me as well). Burkazoid
The band replied to me on Twitter and said it'd be available at all good record stores, yet it's out next week and I can't see it listed on any other sites.

CD copies are out and about. I got an email from Laced Records yesterday, the 2/4LP box sets are delayed until 'late september'. The iam8bit version just had 'Q3' listed on their latest shipping update too. After listening to the main record over the last couple of days, it's going to be a real long wait... Burkazoid
Thanks for the info. Yeah been listening to the record all day on Spotify. It's exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to pick it up.
