Went to A Perfect Circle wednesday night.

What a blast, MJK and the crew were on point and played for 2 hours.  As with all Tool/APC/Puscifer shows as of late, they were VERY strict with the no pics/video. They weren't even allowing people to pull their phones  out at all. Not even between bands.

New album coming in 2018.

Got tickets to see Elton John's last tour. Hopefully its fun. Im excited!

Noticed that tickets for his tour went on sale, it's not till 2019 tho right?

I think I could enjoy an Elton John show, not sure how he sounds these days but it'd at least be a visually entertaining show.  But man, I can't imagine the level of khaki in that crowd.

Haven’t been to a show in years so I kind of fixed that the past couple weeks.

Saw American Pleasure Club two weeks ago and Wicca Phase Springs Eternal just this past Sunday.

American Pleasure Club was pretty cool.  A little disappointed though cause I mainly JUST got into them with their most recent album and they barely played anything from it at all.  So I didn’t know anything else they played.  Kind of strange that they just released an album but barely played anything from it.

Wicca Phase was awesome though.  Never been to a “hip-hop type” show so that was new also.  There was one actual band that opened called Dark Spring and they were incredible.  Never heard them before and I had goosebumps during their whole set.

Aww damn I actually didn't go to this tour because I didn't like the new one but I'm a fan of their teen suicide stuff

Some of y'all seem to go to more shows in a week than I do in a year or two. Albany, NY is a serious dry spot for touring acts these days. Every tour plays like a 3 hour circle around us. Bands like Converge used to hit us up every year or two, now they're all just like "Why don't we just sell out 2 shows at Saint Vitus instead?"

I'm going to the Cave In/Old Man Gloom/Converge/Young Widows show in Boston next month and I'm so excited. Bummed it's under such sad circumstances, but a Cave In/Converge show was seriously on my bucket list. Missed them the last couple times they played my area because it was like 2003-2004 and I was young enough that my parents could say "No."

Might hit up the Skinless record release show with Ringworm. Haven't seen Ringworm since they played with Converge 13 years ago. Despite them being hometown dudes who used to play every metal show, I somehow have never seen Skinless. Was gonna see them with Most Precious Blood back in like 08 but the show got cancelled. I think partially because the venue realized they couldn't handle hardcore shows. Fuck the Revolution Hall. I watched them try to drag out a kid for getting on stage after Thursday INVITED HIM UP to do the Tim Kasher vocals on one of their songs. Geoff had to follow them outside and demand he be let back in.

Never seen Skinless and hometown dudes all in one sentence.  Dah fuk is wrong with you?  Pretty sure you're not human and this was a GatorPrideSonn troll message.

Is there something else to call a local band? If so, I don't want to hear it.

You would’ve loved it then, haha.  I don’t mean to sound like I didn’t have a good time because I really did.  I just would’ve enjoyed myself more if I actually knew most of the songs.  Made me want to get some of their older stuff though, so that’s a plus.

I was 100% gonna go to Skinless but that Cave In show is a few days later and it's less than a week after I get back from vacation. Definitely gonna try to go though.

I missed them play so many tiny shows because I wasn't allowed to go to shows in high school until I got my own car (I still wasn't "allowed" to go, but just did anyways at that point)
