Recommended Posts

Several of the labels under the SC Distribution umbrella (e.g. Secretly Canadian, Jagjaguwar, Dead Oceans) are having a sale from now until the end of the year on all their 2013 releases.

Secretly Canadian: http://www.scdistribution.com/secretlyholiday/

Recommended: Cayucas, Songs: Ohia and Damien Jurado reissues

Jagjaguwar: http://www.scdistribution.com/jagjaguwarholiday/

Recommended: Foxygen, Cave Singers, Volcano Choir

Dead Oceans: http://www.scdistribution.com/deadoceansholiday/

Recommended: Phosphorescent, Night Beds, Califone

Other SC Distro labels may be included in this as well, I didn't check each and every one.

This is as good a thread as any to share this news, I think: Secretly Canadian has quietly restocked Damien Jurado's "And Now That I'm IN Your Shadow," which has been OOP for a few years. It's only $12.99 on their site, so with shipping that's like $17.50 for a double-LP: http://www.scdistribution.com/release.html?catalog=SC145

Holy sh*t, thank you! This is probably my 3rd favorite Jurado album (behind Where Shall You Take Me? and Maraqopa). How did you hear/find out about this?

I had a camelcamelcamel alert for 3rd-party new sellers, and it hit last night for the very first time. The seller had a bunch of copies, which made me suspicious...so I went over to SC's official site to see what was up. Their price was a few bucks cheaper than Amazon, so I was happy to buy direct.

This one is my favorite DJ album, so you can imagine how much giggling I did.
