stl_ben
Are all those 7" boxes for 3rd man releases? Just the TMR box at the bottom. Beyond that I have a pretty varied collection of records.
Aych
After reading plenty of comments on this site and others on how the turntable shouldn't go on the same piece of furniture as the speakers, I figured, "ehh, why not." So, I went out and bought another Expedit and a second Lack side table for a makeshift equipment "shelf." I'll be rearranging the speakers later, I didn't feel like replacing the wires when I set everything up.

michaelmanfredi
What table is your record player on? Looks like 2 of the same tables stacked on top of each other
Aych
Looks like 2 of the same tables stacked on top of each other Precisely. They're Lack side tables, $9.99 a piece at IKEA. I wasn't sure about the overall height of the two stacked like that, but it ended up working out really well with how tall I am (I'm 5'10", and my turntable is right at my waist). hipsterasfolk
I'm curious to see how living in an apartment next semester will work out for me, I am approaching almost 1 full 2x4 expedit. I know my Jeep can haul my room and stuff but this may prove to be a clusterfuck task

Aych
Are you hiding 2 Expedit cubes? Sort of. It's the corner of my (rather small) room, so I figured I could make the shelves into an L-shape until I move into a room big enough to set them up straight. That looks really nice, Adam. Haha, thanks!
hipsterasfolk
Yea, the will fit. Just confining my records to my room alone will prove a task.... unless I put them in my walk in closet thingy, then I have hide them from people and still be accessible. gabpower
Anyone here ever got damaged records for letting them lean like that? It feels like they would slightly warp and bend with time with that kind of pressure.
andi
I try to avoid it. I don't know if they'll warp, but it just don't 'feels' good, for me. Also I think they'll get ringwear quicker.
stl_ben
They dont lean like that all the time....Was just moving stuff around / listening to a stack. Didnt put the spacers back in before taking a photo.
