  1. As an girl in her late 20's I totally get this.. Also, my order finally shipped! Soooo happy I can finally stop uselessly stalking this thread and go back to binge watching Sons of Anarchy in my free time.
  2. Just an FYI when I was at Ommegang for Modest mouse/Brand New last year...they did have beer tents off to the sides (everything was served in cups no bottles) and tons of food vendors. But the actual brewery is closed so no bottles or ability to fill growlers. I think you'd have to wait around till the next day to do that. The sounds was good from what I remember up close and from further back. There is a bit of a hill so you can see from further back too.
  3. Ommegang Rare Vos is awesome, in my opinion. Also I went to pick this up at Vintage Vinyl after work Tuesday all gone, apparently they got quite a few online orders......
  4. Completed that MORE/FITNESS/SHAPE women's half-marathon on Sunday. Finished at 1:49:49 which I was pleasantly surprised with. 2 out of my 9 qualifiers completed!
  5. I too was able to pick one up from Monster Music, so thanks to them and thefavoriteplay for the tip. 11000 copies of Deja ordered, yikes.
  6. I'll definitely get on joining them! Dave, definitely, really nice view. Sounds like an awesome moment/run! Running along the Hudson is great. I used to drive quite often to run a in liberty state park and now that I live in Hoboken I get to run along the hudson daily. I hit up a few stores today and just went out for a quick two mile run as the sun finished setting and it cooled off a bit. I'm running a half marathon in central park tomorrow, I'm just hoping to find a little space during the run. Last week the 4 miler I did in central park was suuuuper packed. Hope everyone is enjoying the nicer weather!
  7. I posted in the Deja thread but: http://brian-lane-o8f5.squarespace.com
  8. I ran a 4 mile run in Central Park this morning. Have been getting back into running over the past month or two. I entered the lottery for the nyc marathon and didn't get in for about the 5th time so I'm going to run the 9 qualifiers to get in next year. I joined the challenge group. Been keeping track of my runs with fitbit, but a challenge sounds like fun.
  9. With no east coast shows...I'd loooove if someone would pick me up a copy of the lyric book
  10. Still looking for a clear copy of this. Haven't found one in any local NJ/NYC shops, if anyone spots an extra...help me out.
  11. I got a fitbit charge HR a few weeks ago since clients kept asking me about them, their accuracy, use. Figured I should try it for myself so I could give/not give a recommendation. HR reads out almost exactly to what my Polar HR monitor with the chest strap does. I think its really useful especially if you could use a little help/motivation with being active and paying attention to what you eat. Since I basically have been trained to do that...by far my favorite thing is the vibrating alarm and when randomly in the middle of the day it vibrates because I've reached 10,000 steps.
