Well the Amazon.com listing now shows the label as "Sin/Australia," but the Ebay listing still shows Insideout, so... I don't really know what to think.

So they are. Weird. And doing a search yields nothing. Well my order is still pending for now. Guess we'll see how this goes.

And if it is in fact being released through Insideout, there should be a few different variants available through their website. So Sound Awake and Asymmetry were released through Sony. According to Wikipedia, Sony purchased Century Media a few years back. Seems reasonable that Karnivool would then get defaulted to the Century Media main prog label, Insideout. I do like the idea of Karnivool on Insideout. They're an excellent label that seems to really support their artists and their vinyl is usually of really good quality. I've ordered a lot from their website, and I've never had anything but positive experiences with their customer service.

For sure, Sound Awake is incredible. I missed out the first time around and seems like they were super limited (like 500 or so?) so I've been patiently waiting for a re-release. Given the strange circumstances, I'm feeling a bit cautiously optimistic... Guess we'll see!

You'd think a repress would come as a huge announcement considering Sound Awake usually goes for serious dollars. I'm somewhat skeptical, but I went ahead and placed an order. I find it interesting (and odd) that in the product details, it indicates the label as being from Insideout Music, yet Insideout has made no announcement that Karnivool has been signed... I found an Ebay preorder listing for Themata also, but nothing on Amazon UK for Themata.

Just heard back from BS, and they're sending me another one. Glad to hear that this seems to be an isolated incident, so the replacement should be much better.

Anybody have any issues with their white vinyl copy of In Absentia? The center hole on the second LP is completely out-of-round, with a large protuberance on one side, like the plastic got bunched up; and the entire thing is pressed off-center, causing at least a half-inch sway in the tone arm. It results in some very distinct pitch fluctuations as the tone-arm sways back-and-forth. Sides 3 and 4 are completely unlistenable for me... :/ I say this with a relatively high-tolerance for less-than-perfect pressings... With that said, sides one and two sound absolutely killer.

Looks like they've been playing quite a few shows lately. Maybe it'll happen.

I bought some super-cheap, generic, dvd player from BestBuy specifically for Feed To Feed. Can't remember the brand name, but I don't think I paid more than $50 for it. I junked it once I got an OPPO BDP-83. I haven't watched Feed To Feed in years, but I seem to recall that the 5.1 track on one of the discs was seriously messed up, and the surround content on the other discs was... not very good. I found the stereo tracks to be more full, punchy, and dynamic. Overall, a great release, and a must-have if you're a fan. Pretty neat having pretty much every song they had ever recorded (up to that point) in a single live video set.

I don't specifically recall the region coding, but I do know that it's PAL encoded, as opposed to NTSC.
