  1. Then this isn't for you, and that's ok. I knew some people would feel that way, and claim we're doing it because of money, but no one complains about Sub Pop and other labels doing the same thing, except they don't even tell you what you're getting. This is a very simple and cheap Subscription in the scheme of things and I think a lot more people will be psyched on it then bummed. A. i'm not talking about sub pop B. i mentioned other labels that are doing it and i have no complaints about it from them My complaint is that the only way i can get any of these is to buy all of them. There's no options. At least with the other labels I know that if I don't buy the subscription I can still purchase the records at a normal cost. Thats what I'm complaining about. Its either i shell out $50 now and try to sell the extra ones off to make some of my money back or i end up paying almost that amount for 2 7"s later on down the road. Obviously you're going to turn around and change this all because i'm saying this, but its something you should think about if you're going to do more subscriptions in the future. Thats all im saying, and i'm not going to keep going on and on or arguing with anyone, all i wanted to do was just make my point.
  2. this. its kind of shitty to have to buy all of those, if you don't want all of them. and people are gonna say "oh just get them off of someone who buys the subscription" yeah because i really want to have to pay double or triple the amount for 1 or 2 7"s. i like subscription ideas, i think it helps the labels and gives those people a feeling that they are directly really helping out the label and releases, so don't get me wrong about that. i can understand doing special variant covers or colors (ie. 6131, no sleep) but seriously to only offer the 7"s to people who buy the whole subscription is lame. its forcing people who want some of them to buy them all or they end up paying as much for 1 or 2 of the 7"s as they would've payed for the whole package. its just really backwards to me. Also, with all the other subscriptions i've seen, part of the point of them is that you save some money. This is exactly what it would cost buying them all seprately anyway. Why wouldn't you just send them out 2 at a time? I'd rather wait a little longer that have to pay for shipping for each individual 7" anyway.
  3. I was essentially told it was USPS's fault and that the color is out of stock (obviously). Was informed they had black and grey left but wasn't offered an exchange or anything like that. well i think that was just relating to the people who didn't get the orange/gray color, not about why all the records were warped. it just seems that too many records are warped for it to be usps fault, it definitely seems like a pressing error
  4. I just emailed him as well, he's definitely a good dude and I'm sure that this is probably something that has to do with the pressing plant and not no sleep. Although I will say this is one reason I hate records that come sealed, I always feel like records that come shrink wrapped have a warp to them and it always warps the jackets.
  5. Ok , so I'm really confused as of right now. I bought the 4 pack from no sleep. all of them are fine except the orange/gray is a little warped on the edge but not bad at all. However the baby blue one I have has a bad warp in it. Now a friend of mine went to the record release show and I asked her to get me a record release copy if she could. She asked the merch guy specifically for the limited record release and apparently he sold her just the regular version and then wouldn't return it for her when she found out it wasnt the record release even though it was shrink wrapped (cool dude). That to me is really shitty because had he let he return it, i know she would've at least bought me a shirt or something else in its place. So i'm thinking great now I have an extra copy of a record I don't need. When i finally met up with her to get it and opened it, it looks like this Uploaded with ImageShack.us which seemed to be the color people got as record release copies, but when its next to the baby blue copy from no sleep they definitely look like 2 completely different colors. Which would be cool except this is how the split blue record looks when its not flat: Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us its so warped, it looks like waves/dents when you look at it. I'm going to try to contact no sleep, since i've already tried contacting the band and never heard anything back from them. But seriously what does the pressing info for this record looks like? Are those blues supposed to be the same colorway? I also got the gray and its definitely split gray not blue/gray split i think they might want to try another plant next time.
  6. Our cost per record for these is over $15.00 - this is definitely our attempt to help those who haven't been able to get a copy pick one up before they're OOP. so will they be more expensive than they were before? or the same price?
  7. anyone else disappointed that the download is only 192? the leak was at least 256.

  10. half hour of power and all killer no filler i'd buy both in a second
  11. bump, a bunch of stuff will be hitting ebay tonight
