I meant over $100 sets. It just seems ridiculous when half of them (if not more) seem to be appearing on Popmarket months later.

This kind of shit's getting ridiculous.

The past three times I've seen them play, they've played pretty much the exact same set list, with the minor difference of a cover song or two. This is over about a three year time span. The Ataris used to be my favorite band, ang Kris Roe was kind of like my hero. I had even played with them and we drank together, had a great time altogether. The last time I saw him, I was waiting in line to buy merch and he proceeded to tell someone to fuck off and give him the finger. Seeing this video makes me wonder if he's fallen on some hard times (again.) Maybe, for the sake of his health, he should lay off of making music. It pains me to say that, but I don't want the memories that I have of this band to be tarnished by any more of this bullshit. Edit: I want to also add that I am unsure of what the dispute between him and the dude in line were, and don't want anyone to infer that it was him being an asshole. I just find all this a bit uncharacteristic of the dude.

Looks as if The Beatles are slated for tomorrow's Popmarket deal. It's probably for the CD box sets, but I thought I'd give a heads up here in the case that it's the vinyl box set. I hear they're only pressing 50,000 of them .

I think we can all agree that driving legally has no bearing on whether or not a cop stops you. I also hail from the state of TX (Denton, not too far from Lewisville) and agree that there's a fuck ton of cops out here with nothing better to do than pull me over and make fun of my beard. No joke.

I respectfully disagree. I absolutely love the way "Note to Self..." builds up to that ending. It gives me chills every time I hear it.

I dunno what their upstream deal with MCA looked like, but I'm interested to see how this pans out. I want both of these fucking albums.

This guy is even more of a douche for hocking his copy of this record knowing they were going to repress it. Either way, I'll buy their entire fucking catalog. This band is beyond incredible.
