Have any of you tried to watch a kids sitcom lately? Disney or Nickelodeon? I know it wasn't genius tv when I was a kid but it has gotten sooooooooo bad. Have you watched iCarly for 5 minutes? Probably not because it's unwatchable YET it is huge with kids. This new show is not out to satisfy nostalgia-hungry adults, it is being marketed to kids and therefore will be as bad as anything else on Disney. This is going to destroy a lot of childhood memories folks. Tread lightly, lower expectations and pray for a pleasant surprise.

Youre welcome. I was always gonna hold true to my word on this. Just really didnt make sense to give out this info if my order didnt go through in the first place. Plus you can view it as being selfish or whatever but it was my idea and i put a lot of time into figuring out how to get the biggest discount possible on this deal. Theres a few moving parts involved with the deal that I did a few hours of research on just to get the best price possible. I felt like I at least needed to make sure I was given the chance to receive what I dreamed up before sharing with others. Say what you want of me but Ive given 6 VCers the opportunity of over $100 savings each on a TT they quite possibly may have never thought fit into their price range beforehand.

There's just no way there's 5000 copies, otherwise I have a feeling copies would be going for less than fifty bucks. Also a note for combatchuck: just because copies are still available in the Tooth & Nail store shouldn't mean the release isn't selling well. Zao's Self Titled is available from Solid State, but it's sold out through Broken Circles, because Brent promoted the release and got the band to spread the word to their fans. People might not know Tooth & Nail even has a webstore. I remember when mewithoutYou records were going for big bucks on eBay while the same pressings were sitting in the Gilead and Burnt Toast webstore, it's just a matter of marketing and working with the bands. And besides, there's nothing wrong with a release staying in print for a while, there shouldn't be a "press 500, sell out in a week, move on to the next release" mentality. They might even have to actually - gasp - send copies to stores through their regular distribution channels, not everyone follows old bands they like via social media.

I would give like 90% of it to the Innocence Project/children's hospitals and I would send my nephews to college. That's about it. I would buy a lot of weed, albums and recording gear with the rest.

I never shave and get asked daily now if I'm doing no-shave November. No, I'm just continuing being really fuckin lazy. I trim once a month or so just because. I haven't clean shaved in years. It's just not worth it to me, and on top of that I can rock a beard because I'm an educator and it looks academic, so fuck shaving.
