There may be some copies at a few HT stores on the west coast, most west coast stores should have them soon. They havent been shipped out to stores in other areas of the country yet but should be going out by the end of the week. Not exactly sure when they will go up for sale online but they should be up soon. Not sure if they will be today/tomorrow/next week... If this sells out as quickly as everyone thinks it will, I'll get more pressed. No one flip out or resort to ebay for a copy.

Travis isnt going around making threads to have us all ask him questions about HT. I personally hate HT and dont buy from them, but Travis is also a good dude who works there. I put HT and Alt Press on the same level of shittiness, but at least Travis is a great guy who isnt looking for attention that he works there while Scott will drop this knowledge every few months. AND he calls out Allison for making a "look at me thread" and then does the same thing with this, after no one cared about the idea when he mentioned it in another thread. Have you ever been through the criminal system for being raped? In my state, less than 2% of charges of rape brought to the police end in the case being brought to court. Well less than half of those end in the perp being convicted. Not to mention that the victim gets dragged through the mud, everyone questions every decision in her life she ever made, and god forbid she has ever had sex before, because that alone will make her a slut in the public eye. She will have to relive it numerous times in court, to lawyers, have it picked apart by the defense attorney. She will have to spend close to two years in the legal system with absolutely no help at all on how to fill out the paperwork correctly, unless she hires a lawyer. If she is selling zines at shows, something tells me she probably isnt rolling in the money to afford a lawyer that can help her on this. So she stopped and wanted her coat back. People make odd decisions when going through a traumatic event. Perhaps she wanted to make things seem as normal as possible to try and survive the event and not end up with her head kicked in. Dont even pretend to know what it is like to be a rape survivor unless you are one, and even then you cant fault any of their decision making.

Looking at things I'm annoyed that the majority of posts around here seem to be critical of the woman or at least critical of her decision making. So I'll give my opinion on the topic with the information at hand. Looking at the steps she set forth for the accused to live up to; A) Apologize both publicly and via written acknowledgement of his actions. If this happened she would get something that most victims don't get, acknowledgement of how he hurt her. Along with that he would forever be know as the guy from that band that raped that woman. He would be stigmatized for life. In a community where is literally a "Rock Star" he would forever be marked as a predator. He would no longer be able to use his limited fame to prey on women. Not saying there are or would be more women but it would dramatically hinder his ability to do something like this. B- While this, from the outside, seems a bit silly it forces the accused to look at stories of how his actions have harmed the victim/s. Realistically this step should involve the accused being forced to attend both group and individual counseling sessions. C) Quitting, or going on hiatus, from Gaza would be the only way to immediately deal with other 2 steps set forth. We can look at this and say she should have done this, or that, or I would have done such and such, but, you know what? We aren't in her shoes. Period. End of story.

Depends on how you want to define "Christian Band". Brian from Gaslight Anthem is an outspoken christian and it shows through in his lyrics, but they don't do things like hold prayer ceremonies on stage. GA definitely matters if they count as a Christian Band.

Not saying the story is true or not, but rape is terrible, Falsely accusing someone of rape is also terrible.

I heard that in the dinner scene where DiCaprio hurts his hand, and wipes his blood on Kerry Washington's face wasn't in the script. He actually hurt his hand unintentionally and smeared his blood on her face in the heat of the moment, much to her surprise. Quentin loved it, and kept it in the film. I think Leo got snubbed in the best supporting actor category, but the competition is really stacked. Quentin also deserves a directing Oscar I feel. Guy is incredible.
