He told them that it's in production at the moment and Dine Alone should be making an announcement soon. Really hope it includes the final shows DVD.

Thread* Lately I have noticed a running trend with potential scam reports, it seems like more often buyers are sending their payments as gifts instead of product payments. I strongly urge you all to NOT send your payments as gifts when buying records from another user. This essentially is you giving up any chance of ever getting your money returned should you be dealing with a scammer. The seller fee is not necessarily expensive. It usually won't be more than a couple dollars. Let's say you purchase records from a user for $30 PPD, an additional $1.17 will cover the $.30 + 2.9% seller fee and give you 40 days to file a claim if you do not receive your records. Sellers, if you want to keep your funds at the decided price simply add $.30 and an additional 2.9% to the total (https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/paypal-fees), inform your buyers that this additional price is there to protect both parties in the event that something goes South. Keep tracking information in case someone tries to open a case against you claiming they did not receive their records. You are all free to send your money as a gift if you trust your seller, just please keep this in mind. A little can go a long way. Be safe out there friends!

I think I got the last test press. I was at the screen w/ all the lists of pledge options and it was highlighted but said "all gone" but still had me pledging $150 for it and receipt tell me "You've pledged $150 for "Signed Vinyl Test Pressing of Acoustics II". I better be alright. Damnit.

Funny bump, Lexi. So recently found two things I was semi-craving. One was a first US pressing of The Zombies second album Odessy and Oracle. The other was this: It's Coleman's second proper album. It's very conventional jazz with only moments of free 'interpretation' that he would later become known for. It was $25 and a first pressing deep grove mono copy and I haven't seen any sell for less online. It looked really clean but plays VG+ so I'm pretty pumped.

As a seller, I always think about all associated fees when coming up with a price. If it's PPD with someone on the board, then I'm thinking about that PayPal fee (as well as shipping, packaging, etc) before accepting the price. It includes the fee, basically. If it's Discogs or eBay or something, I work the associated fees into the amount I charge for shipping. It doesn't matter how well regarded a user or seller is, shit happens. I order a of shit from Brent at Broken Circles, and have had two packages disappear while crossing the boarder. Brent is the awesomest dude ever, but it's the MAIL I don't trust As a seller, I WANT the buyer to transact correctly and not use 'Gift'. I've never had a dispute where I've gotten screwed, I line my ducks up. Worst case scenario (which has happened a few times to me), mail disappears, claim is opened, PayPal refunds the buyer, I provide enough proof that I actually DID mail it and I'm in the clear. One particular instance really sucked because it was for a super-rare CD which just vanished (or the buyer was jerking my chain), if I didn't have the correct documentation I would have been out $250+.

Holy crap, I got scammed by beardxcore it seems as well. He sent me a tracking confirmation number that I couldn't access on June 26th for 3 records. I assumed it was because of the new tracking system with media mail records. The receipts will have a tracking number on them that can be accessed by the post office, but not by individuals. I contacted him about it, and he even got back to me, and said just wait a week or two, it should be there. Before I sent any money, I even had him take pictures of the records, and send them to my email, I emailed his personal email and paypal email today. If I don't get these records or my money back, I'm going to be furious. To those that have been screwed, what is the best way to get it figured out?

Recently re-watched Return Of The Living Dead for the first time in like 10 years. The energy, the fun and the gore of mid '80s splatter horrors (Evil Dead, Re-Animator, ROTLD...) just can't be stopped.

I think they've pretty well established Miami Metro isn't the best run PD in the world. Dexter has always had free reign to tamper/remove evidence and search the database for whoever he wants without his computer being monitored.

I really don't understand all the hate for the "secular" lyrics. These lyrics are in no way my favorite by them, but I don't think they deserve to be criticized the way they are by their Christian fan base. I mean if they want to right a fun album that's not Christian based, then they should be able to do just that. I don't remember them ever saying "This album's gonna be about Jesus and how much we love him". I think Matt can write much better songs by himself, but I don't think that all of these songs are just terrible. I really enjoyed Boomerang, If I Could Take You Home, PTL, and Disaster. On the other hand, I think Can't Complain is one of (if not THE) worst songs they've ever recorded. All I really hope for for the next record is that Matt writes the songs by himself and not with ten thousand co-writers.
