  3. Even as a female, there have been times where the use of the word 'cunt' has been appropriate in describing a person, but that was not one of those times. Back on topic: I'm also super excited for this. Saw them a month or two ago and they did play 1 new song. I don't remember what it was called, but it was definitely a slower type song.

  8. Circa Survive-Descensus Preorders and single, "Schema", up now. descens.us Circa Survive, the progressive 5-piece rock band from Doylestown, Pennsylvania self-produced their fourth album Violent Waves at Studio 4 in suburban Philadelphia and have recently re-released it on Sumerian Records. Now they are back with their newest effort Descensus. Hailed as a remarkably visceral live act since their foundation, Circa Survive began their career with a genre-bending debut in 2005 entitled Juturna. Written and recorded before the band had ever performed a live show together, Juturna showcased the band's raw energy with "Act Appalled," and future-fans were introduced to Circa Survive through glistening tracks "The Great Golden Baby" and "In Fear and Faith." In 2007, the band followed-up with an acclaimed sophomore album, On Letting Go, which brought the brand into another realm of success. "The Difference Between Medicine and Poison Is in the Dose" and "In the Morning and Amazing" highlighted the band's strength as musicians and songwriters and poised them to be one of the most respected bands in rock music. After nearly two years of non-stop touring with Coheed and Cambria, Thrice, and more including jaw-dropping performances at such varied music festivals as Coachella and Bamboozle, the band needed a much-deserved break. Emerging after months of writing sessions and major life experiences, Circa Survive teamed with producer David Bottrill (Tool, Muse, King Crimson) and signed with major label Atlantic Records to release Blue Sky Noise in April 2010. The album debuted at #11 on the Billboard Top 200. Two years later - with no record label or traditional distribution outlet - Violent Waves debuted at #15. Charged with the lead track "Birth of the Economic Hit Man" clocking in at over 7-minutes in length, vocalist Anthony Green proclaims "we've become everything we criticize" shunning the safe and traditional and introducing fans to the next chapter of Circa Survive history. Now with their new album on deck, the machine that is Circa Survive, is showing no signs of slowing down. From: https://artist-shop.com/rykodisc/index.htm Announcement video: Preorders and "Schema" music video: descens.us Vinyl info: Test pressing with screen printed sleeve /15 Yellow/Black splatter /1000 Clear with Blue/White splatter Hot Topic exclusive /1000 Black 180g retail /??? 9. Hey guys, I have a massive vinyl collection that I'm looking to liquidate. I've recently moved, and have no room for these records. They have been very well taken care of, and it hurts to part with them, but with my new place, a new car, and other expenses, I'm ready to let my collection go. I don't know if anybody would remember a Bruins4Ever on Vinyl Collective a few years ago (that was me), but I did a big sale back then and had very good responses from people who purchased from me. Keep in mind, I am in Canada, and shipping will be more expensive. I also need to get some vinyl mailers (if anyone has a good idea for these, or has a link where they can be purchased in bulk, let me know!) but I will get on that ASAP. 10. This kind of shocking/"offensive" humor/aesthetic is incredibly exhausting, and I'd have thought people were completely over it by now. The music literally sounds like Brokencyde.

  16. It seems strange. We announced it so early to make a better guess about how many to make. There will be more announcements this week with even longer lead times. All will be pretty limited pressings, but maybe we can make sure people don't have to fight over copies.

  17. This isn't to degrade you or sound like I think you're wrong or dumb or whatever so don't take it the wrong way. It's more towards music listeners in general. I 100% of the time wait to listen to an album until I either have it on my table or I have a download and listen to it on release date. Bands put so much work into making their music (especially this band) and they set a date for that album to be released and celebrated. Why would people not want to hear a certain album on the day it's supposed to be out? A release date is just as important as artwork, touring, merch, etc. It's a part of the whole you know? It is way more gratifying to listen to something on it's "birthday." With our advancements in technology and such it's so easy to gain early access. I always felt bad in the past when I would hear an album early whether that was from a leak or an "early stream." An album is always a little more fulfilling like that to me..

And now the most important part: I've looked through all entries and finally I can say that we have a winner. It is... Blade! Congratulations, this is your prize. (I'll send send you an PM when I'm back at home, so we can work out the details.)

  22. Ahh Simple "item not as described" and a forced return on eBay's part should clear things up. You are eligible for a full refund under the "item not as described." Code. He wants to get partial refund because if he does get partial refund from you, it means you keep the broken item, and eBay will just pay you back, vs if you ask for a full return he's forced to then give you full refund and gets nothing but a broken machine back lol

  29. I've said it so many times but TLLA is probably the most lyrically emotional record ever written, in my opinion. They're all tear jerkers, and I have yet to lose a very close loved one. I can't imagine listening to that record if I had lost my father.

  31. We are taking a break from shipping outside the US. We found that there were just way too much fraud and lost packages. We probably will try again at some point. The black will be available everywhere later, so it's unlikely that there will be problems with it either. ORG is handling all the details for us. They do a nice job, if you're not familiar with them. Thanks for asking.

  35. The studios will move on when these movies stop making them money. It has nothing to do with comic book fans (if that's who you were referring to). GotG comic sold barely over 30,000 copies per issue. If every single person that bought the comics went to see the movie (which they probably did), that's $300 thousand. The movie made $687.5 million, meaning 99.95% of the audience never bought the comic. If the comic book fans move on, the studio won't even notice.
