  8. Here's my full, updated collection of (what I believe is) everything PUP (ex-Topanga) has out so far. I also just got a test press of their self-titled debut but didn't want to lay them all out again to take another photo.

  13. Bullet to Binary is so fucking good. Can't believe I've seen them 5 times in the last 10 years and never seen them play it. It's one of the songs that helped me get into "heavier" music as a teenager. That, Ebolorama by Every Time I Die, Black Cloud by Converge, and Mordecai by Between the Buried and Me all blew my mind around the same time. Mwy is definitely the outlier on that list.

  15. The new album is really good. I'd assume if you're already a fan of Defeater you will be into this. Also, there will be an exclusive Hot Topic variant.

  25. Next time this is what you do: "Hey dudes, wow, look what I found, so many copies, cool huh. I would love to do a solid and hook anyone up that wants a copy because they have soooo many, and I want to share the excitement". Not, na na boo boo, I know where these are but I'm not telling. Like a 5th grade dufus that came across his mommies stash of penthouses.

  26. Because sharing is caring, you don't get what's wrong with what you just said and did? "look at these awesome things in the store, I won't tell you where it is though, coz I want it for when I'll get paid" So why did you post? to make others jealous? I don't want these records btw, I just didn't like the attitutde.

  30. According to Polyvinyl's site the Walker/Back of Dave split 7" came out 20 years ago today and was their first music release. My Polyvinyl collection started with an American Football CD in 2000, but started growing to this soon after. With the Owen/Into It. Over It. split coming out next month this picture will already be outdated, but I'm sure I'll always be buying a few things from them each year. And it also means more Airheads with my mail orders, which is nice. Note: While I included Matt Pond PA's non-Polyvinyl albums that they pressed, I left out Headlights' The Enemies EP and Owen's (the ep) since they were pressed by Mi Amante in Germany.

  33. Happy 4th of July, everyone! While this isn't technically a "holiday" sale...it is a wicked awesome sale that just happens to start on a holiday. Here's the deal: I've recently moved into a new place that is a fraction of the size of any place I've ever lived in. On top of that, we are working on several awesome releases for the coming months and at least two of them are double LPs. What does this mean? IT MEANS THAT UNLESS I GET RID OF SOME RECORDS, I WILL BE SLEEPING ON THEM! Make my accountant shudder at the sheer loss in profits on some killer releases that we have for sale right now: http://www.mindovermatterrecords.com/store.html Included items are: * All of our t-shirts (WIFE, Our Lady) * Our Lady "II" 12" * Our Lady "Vessels" 7" * Our Lady/estates Split 7" * husband&wife "Dark Dark Woods" LP+CD * Empires "Freshwater Reflection" LP * Billy Wallace & The Virginia Blues "Tucumcari..." LP * Greenland Is Melting "Still Not Dead" 7" ...and more! ALL ONLY $3 EACH!!! WHAAAAAT?! Also, we have some great new distro titles that I've added in, including: * ISIS "In The Absence Of Truth" (Clear/Red variant) * ISIS "Oceanic" * estates "Gleam" (debut vinyl LP, now OOP!) Come one, come all. Please help me make some space!

  34. I tweeted at one of fan accounts who have been posting about each show with pics and setlists and they responded: @TSOTQuestions: @jhulud They have a shirt that runs in women's sizes so its very small. If you get the smallest size it will be big but not as big as others

  36. I'm just legitimately interested if the sibilance on my copy of M&A is an anamoly or a problem with the pressing. Finding out that someone out there hates Tiny Cities Made of Ashes with a passion rocks my world though. Song is hella dope.

  38. So stoked for this release. The band replied to a Facebook comment I left, saying they would be playing new material on the FYS tour. This was a week or so ago, before a release date was announced. Now it's obvious they'd be playing new shit.

  39. I'd just start chronologically from "A>B Life", its pretty neat to see their progression. It's definitely got their least amount of sung vocals, so if thats bothersome you could start at CFUTF (which is the album that hooked me when it came out)

    Hannibal

I'm not trying to be offensive, but that's my issue with the show now. Seems like they're trying really hard to make it super artsy fartsy when it originally was a straight up horror show (which I loved). The first two seasons worked extremely well, and if it's not broke don't fix it. Yes, there wasn't much they could have done with the characters after season two but they made it seem like the slate was wiped clean, I had hoped they would have used a similar formula with a new cast in Europe and not even show Hannibal until the middle of the season 3, kind of like he's up to his same old crap in another country. Then again there's already a far superior horror show staring Gillian Anderson that's based in Europe called The Fall, it's too bad this show jumped the shark and is going out like this.
