  4. I think you have a poor attitude as a seller. That's your customer and you should follow their wishes or cancel the order if you cannot meet their expectations. Fact is that many sellers don't know how to ship a record and seam splits occur. Buyer was probably fed up with it and sends the same instructions to all sellers. It's a smart move.

  11. Especially since it's so easily avoidable, as long as you don't care about your record being sealed. Which you shouldn't, because you're going to play it, RIGHT?

  12. Been into QK's music for some time now. Her Bad Lieutenant EP is awesome. This new album is even better and all over the place musically. If you follow me on Twitter and IG, then you know how much I've been gushing over it. Wrote a review as well: http://www.the1stfive.com/news/review-queen-kwong-get-a-witness

  34. The True Detective soundtrack is on Spotify now, I assume the RSD release would be the same track list. It has all the Lera Lynn plus the Nick Cave cover. It also has the unreleased Sign of the Judgement from S1, which is the best song from either season.

  36. They probably got em because HT has a hard time selling most of their exclusive variants. Almost all of my Pure Noise stuff is HT exclusive because they clearance all of it eventually.

  37. The entire point of this topic is that selling OOP records for their average market value is not flipping and yet some people here can't grasp that simple concept. Furthermore, if I wanted to sell a record for 6000 dollars and someone bought it, that's because THAT IS WHAT THAT RECORD IS WORTH TO THEM. If you disagree just don't buy it.

  39. The hobby is right! Though I don't agree with buying multiple copies of a record with the sole intention of selling them for a profit, I have sold records for more than what I've paid. If it's a record that I no longer want or listen to, I generally just trade it off for something I will, without taking a record's 'value' into account; however, I have sold records on eBay for a profit because I needed to buy food since I was jobless for the first 6 months after moving to DC.

  43. I'd probably go with 1973 as the greatest year in music, although I'm biased towards prog rock. Here are some from 73 - Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon King Crimson - Larks Tongues in Aspic Genesis - Selling England by the Pound ELP - Brain Salad Surgery The Who - Quadrophenia Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Paul McCartney - Band on the Run The Stooges - Raw Power David Bowie - Aladdin Sane Yes - Tales from Topographic Oceans

  44. I'd put '69 or '70 up against pretty much any year. Here are just 10 of the 1969 highlights: Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin II The Velvet Underground Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere In A Silent Way The Stooges In The Court Of The Crimson King Abbey Road Let It Bleed Trout Mask Replica 10 1970 highlights: Black Sabbath Paranoid Deja Vu Bitches Brew After The Gold Rush Led Zeppelin III Abraxas Tea For The Tillerman Weasels Ripped My Flesh Mwandishi
