I don't know if he was banned or if he randomly decided to stop posting, but either way I'm pretty happy. I know it's not really being discussed, but props to the administrator(s) who [have] stepped up to the plate and addressed this, if that is indeed what happened. To everyone saying that the removal of his account will not effect his ability to hawk the forums and flip future releases: you are correct. Unless they IP-ban all his connections to the internet, he can still lurk just fine. But knowing how annoying it'd be to have no "last read post" option while also not having to deal with his idiotic bumps? Minor victories in my books, and I'll gladly take them. I will not miss the incessant bumping with info that's already been posted. I can't see myself longing for his horseshit "stay positive and love one another fam" posts. I'm already relieved that we'll be seeing less replies and threads centered around suburban white kid hip-hop. And I'm thrilled that I will no longer see him post "wow, first time listening to this band and I'm in love" – followed by a blatantly overpriced Discogs listing a week later. They're all quality-of-VC improvements and I saw absolutely no positive reasoning to let him contribute to the forums any longer. It's not so much that we were clamoring to "burn the witch" for the hell of it. Many folks found themselves frustrated with his shenanigans, and for good reason. This was a matter of burn the fuckboy, and I personally have zero qualms offering a match in the front row.

@Halo 2 annoys me the same as many others have expressed, however i think a ban is overkill. can't we just ignore, ridicule, and berate him like normal? i agree with @stl_ben that it's ironic that the same users praising the new "burn the witch" track and video are gathering like a mob with their pitchforks calling for the total removal of an internet forum user. no one is forcing you to buy his overpriced records or even pay attention to him.

It was awesome! There was a dude dressed like Jason who was on point! It was drizzling rain all night, which I thought was gonna suck, but actually made for a foggy/eerie night, and I was under a tent so I didn't get went. Part 3 was in 3D (hence my stupid glasses), which although gave me a headache was definitely awesome to see!

Bit of an update on my guys! Colin had his MRI scan, turns out he has a form of Spina Bifida. Had to have corrective surgery and we're now two weeks post-op. Been a bumpy few weeks, he lost the use of his lower body entirely from the surgery, but he's back on his feet and gradually getting there. Alright, I couldn't take it anymore. My copy is not going to be here for some time, so I caved and listened. This album is pretty much exactly what I wanted them to do after the debut EP. Dozens of beautiful melodies, stellar sequencing, cool references, gnarly guitar crunch everywhere and some Slowdive-level shoegaze goodness. It's absolutely stunning. Pretty stoked for anyone here who was around at the right moment to grab a Vertigo copy. One of the better and more creative limited edition variants in recent years. I'm not huge on the splatter records themselves, but the covers that leaked are simply gorgeous. I sure hope Halo didn't get one. Haha. I also revisited GoE several times in the last couple weeks and it definitely grew a lot on me after initially disregarding it as a pretty good, but flawed and ultimately uninspired effort. After the first dozen or so listens of ToT, it's definitely a big step up for me, but GoE is a very strong debut album that I'm excited to dig into more fervently in the coming weeks. There is one minor gripe, though. How is 'Heavenly Blue Flu' NOT on the album? It's one of my favorites on here, for sure, and I'm stunned that it did not make the cut. I mean, even if I was waiting on a deluxe and had the opportunity to possess a physical product that holds this song, it's just way too amazing to be hidden on a 2 song picture disc. Color me bemused. Besides, is anyone else getting a huge Caspian 'Gone In Bloom and Bough'-vibe from that chord progression in the verses? Every time I listen to it, I'm tensely waiting for it to go through the roof, but in this case, it never does. Anyways, a brilliant track. And a brilliant album.

Don't bother. Just wait for a good quality copy. I listened to it on Pandora in my car and was so distracted by the shitty quality that I don't even remember if I liked the album. Now I remember why I deleted pandora. Deleted again.

This boxset means more to me than most people I know. It's important.

So I got further clarification from the people who run Vinyl Me Please in regards to these re-issues. My understanding is that they have bought up the remaining stock of current Parlaphone pressings and will also be doing their on re-master using the original Parlaphone tapes. Unfortunately, the "Parlaphone" stock they bought is likely the batch that is really Capitol pressings in disguise. I'd check the matrix #'s when your Amazon package arrives. The good news is that for those willing to remain patient, high quality, analog versions should be available sooner then later. Which is why I'm gonna hold off on ordering Kid A from VMP even though I'll likely never get it at a better price. Don't want to risk getting leftovers. But please report back as it pertains to sound quality.

Can't speak for RTL, but KEA sounds great. If anything, it's a bit bass heavy. The original sounds a bit more rounded to me, but I'd definitely recommend this new repress. Just make sure it's the newest one. The hype sticker should say "Remastered for the First Time" (which is funny in its own right). You definitely don't want the press from a couple years ago.

I saw them at the Grey Eagle in Asheville last week, and the merch was kind of limited. Didn't see any t-shirts. As for LPs, they had Dream Balloon, Mind Fuzz, and Nonagon Infinity (I think they had Quarters, too, but I definitely remember seeing the others) There wasn't any Murlocs merch. Some local artist did a silkscreen for the show (x/45) that was pretty sick, and I grabbed one before they sold out. Show was totally bonkers - heavy on the new stuff (Nonagon medley, Mind Fuzz medley, The River), with a Head On/Pill encore. My 2nd Gizzard show - out of control!

Just got through the EP in full. Guys, this EP is the hotness. I was worried a little because the band recorded in a home recording setting with equipment not on par with their other releases BUT this sounds so good. The songs are all really engaging and we even see themes very similar to 'Suits'. Thank you Mercury Program!!!!!! Also, shout out to jonandrewrobson for being the man
