  1. If you want quality storage that will make the neighbors blush, do yourself a favor and pick up the only custom made acrylic vinyl storage solution under $75. The transparent 100% solid acrylic illuminates the majesty of your favorite LP cover art while providing the protection that other storage systems often promise but rarely deliver. At only $75, less than a new automobile fresh off the showroom floor, you can honor the sacred bond between musician and listener by giving your records a home that was hand-built by a highly skilled unnamed source who we assure you is the only individual capable of creating such a trophy case. Trust me. You can spend $25 worth of fuel to visit a record store four towns over and buy 2 shitty albums by some nobody has-beens who can only dream of carrying Jimmy Page's jock for $297 and then pay the record shop bouncer the customary $45 exit fee on your way out but none of that will bring you what you really want: face time with your cruel and uninvolved Creator. You know what you have always wanted to say to the High One and you've spent countless hours carving the crude, makeshift weapon you intend to smuggle across metaphysical borders to try and take Him down. Well, folks, for only $75, you can finally secure the final medallion of Light and Dark, built from custom-glued economy grade acrylic and capable of holding up to 75 or 12 LPs, required to unlock one face-to-face confrontation with the One who built and abandoned this chaotic reality and secure your dream of shouting "I am the True Creator! For I hold my destiny in mine own hands!" as you ram a sharpened PVC pipe dipped in arsenic and dragon blood into His ember power crystal. Please, be sure to provide your correct address when checking out with PayPal. Thank you. http://www.ebay.com/itm/332036788967

  2. The moral of the story is actually more in tune with "if it's not limited, wait for Bullmoose".

  3. You're engaging the wrong person. WAXXX is pretty clear about the parameters of how and what he discusses. I'd describe it as a bit flippant and, at times, weirdly attacking of others' masculinity (the "crying" and "impress your girlfriend's kids" remarks are hyper-focused on challenging your manhood as a form of establishing authority in a conversation, which I think tells us that he views that as a sensitive spot or place of weakness to hit?). The "for the LOLs" stuff works for him and a few others as a way of killing time on the internet and instigating reactions for entertainment, but a back and forth conversation isn't going to stem from there. I think you'll need to keep the discussion going in person with non-anonymous individuals or through PMs with people who are at least willing to respect the dialogue as legitimate, even if they're disagreeing with you. There are opportunities for conversation online where your sincerity isn't immediately attacked as soft or weak or non-masculine.

  6. The dollar is at an all time high due to the current president (and volatility in Europe and Asia). I'm so glad you've come to your senses and appreciated Obama's leadership over these past eight years.

  7. So you have no problems with the fact that Trump refuses to go to intelligence Briefings? That he still doesn't believe Russia influenced the election? That he nominated someone like Betsy Devos for secretary of Education? But you want to keep pushing that he has the stock market at an all time high ? (Though you should probably thank the actual current president who has created this trend, not the one who hasn't done anything yet) And you want to thank him for Keeping Jobs here....even though most of what he said about keeping jobs here wasn't accurate and they are going away over the next decade anyway....(if we are talking about Carrier)

  9. I won the Caspian Hymn For The Latest Generation for $71. And my buddy got the Waking Season (who is the only other Caspian collector I know). So we lucked out on that. Waking Season was a little rich for my blood, but I'm glad he got it.

    Recent purchases

Found it on Discogs. Paid A LOT of money for it. It won't show on the sales history on Discogs since he offered me a lower price to buy it from him direct and avoid the fees. Getting out of the laserdisc game and focusing just on vinyl (more of a music guy) so I sold my 2 rarest Japanese LD's to fund most of the purchase. Also been selling some duplicates I have and gear I don't need to buy more records. Once my outstanding purchases arrive all I need are Pale and Fear since Coil was never released on vinyl.

  14. Crazy thing happened today. 6 years ago we bought a house and there was a side door to the house into the laundry room that the previous owner had bolted shut after having their house broken into. We never bothered to use it and left the bolted locks on it, just put the cats shitting box in front of the door and never thought about it for the past 6 years. Fast forward to today, me and my daughter were outside playing in the first snowfall of the year and decided to bug the shit out of my wife who was cranky inside the house playing some nicky nicky nine doors on her. We started at the front door of course but then decided to open the screen door at the side of the house to give a knock to that bolted up side door with the cats shit box on the other side. I guess I had never opened that outside side door since we moved in 6 years ago as to my shock sitting there was a uline type record mailer with bugs and crud all over it. I checked the date stamped on it and it was friggin May if 2012. The damn thing had been there for almost 5 years!! What the hell! I was sure it would be a disaster after opening that mailer up as it had basically been outside here in Canada for all that time. The sender did a great job packing it as the bloody thing was in great shape still! I had no clue what was inside though but doubted it was something of any value and was probably something I had either purchased again or didn't give a crap about anymore. Well it was neither, it was a record still on my want list that I never managed to get around to purchasing and the only album by this band I was still missing on vinyl. It was the original pressing of the Photo Album by Death Cab for Cutie and I know it was the original as the repress came out like 2 years after that damn package was delivered to the side door!

  28. I feel like they wouldn't do another live album so close to the Thousands of Miles Between Us box set. I know they were writing this year and it's been awhile since AWLWLB. Also, I think he posted the WYW test a couple months ago

Tar - Handsome... also have yet to listen to this, but always down and excited to check out new music Glassjaw - Worship and Tribute. only got to listen to one side so far, and i'm digging it. had never listened to this band, but had heard the name on here a lot. a really really cool photography book about a photographer moving from Birmingham AL, to Bellingham WA (i really like this book. some awesome landscapes and cool shots. i don't normally shoot landscapes myself, but i do enjoy looking through them. plus this book has so much more too. really like it SS) [and not picutred because i just realized i had it on my shelf] Royal Forest - Spillway... pretty chill music. but i like it. has a good sound to it. 7"s touche amore/casket lottery - split... really dig this, had never listened to either band. liking the touche side better though Rise Against - ready to fall.... also awesome Evergreen terrace - dead horses.... have not listened to this yet either Like Rats.... this, this i like. fucking brutal thrash goodness. pretty damn awesome super happy with all the stuff i got. will definitely get around to listening to the rest of the records. thanks so much!! now for the guessing part. i'm gonna say it's @kforkevin777 (your avatar gave you away) also the fact that our location is shown under our names. sorry for not really knowing people on here like many of you do. but fuck, i so appreciate all the stuff you sent me. seriously, thank you!

  35. So rather than addressing the fact that Trump was so for the people and yet hired pretty much only CEO billionaires, you go right to an already disproven conspiracy theory that is a waste of everyone's time and has become quite dangerous for people working in a fucking pizza shop. Love the rhetoric.

  40. I've only been there once and unfortunately it was really bad Got a shrimp burrito and they used canned tiny shrimp in it. Bleck. Also they give you chips before your meal and then say "the salsa is inside, it's self serve" and then you go inside and there's a sign next to it that says "Salsa $2.99" WHO DOES THAT?! Hahaha.
