It can be anything you want, your hometown, your favorite band, something anyone familiar with the board could figure out. Or, be vague…this is part of the fun! 6. When you receive your gift: • post what you got in this the main thread and guess who sent it to you. • PM your Secret Santa Moderator that you received your gift so we can mark you off our list. It takes a minute. This is a must. I don't want to have to be PMing people daily to see if they received their gifts. Once its been noted, please, please say THANK YOU. There's nothing more thoughtless than not at least giving a “thank you.” It's rude to say the least! 7. If you don't receive your gift by December 17th, PM your moderator (me) AND post in the main thread (do not create a new thread). We'll find a way to punish that person. The second record, following closely after is the sequel to Golczewski’s popular space epic that started of with Reality Check and continued with End Of Transmission #1 and The Signal. End Of Transmission #2 is at times a more hopeful chapter to the story but still carries the same both claustrophobic and epic atmosphere familiar to fans of the previous albums. Received my copies of FALSE 'Untitled 2015' and Hunger 7" from Eroding Winds / Gilead media today - beautiful! Since I bought them on Bandcamp I already have the downloads, but they also came with DL codes - offering them up to my BM'ers first - first person to send me a message can have em!

This is a case of two completely separate label entities (SRC vs. MOV) getting master multitrack OR stereo mixdown files from the original recording of this album. Each of the different labels had their own lacquer cutter apply the same master files to a brand new lacquer. In the case of SRC it was Stan Ricker. In the case of MOV, we do not know but can assume it was probably an on-staff vinyl mastering engineer aka lacquer cutter for MOV. This is the point at which the Armageddon and black variant masters differ from the Red and clear with black smoke variant masters. If you have an Armageddon variant that is the album pressed to vinyl by a completely different label than the label that pressed the Red variant. This is simply a case of two different labels remastering and releasing the same exact title at around the same time coincidentally. The labels are not connected nor do they share the means to press albums. I'm hoping that the Armageddon variant is sold out everywhere now so I can pick up a black one finally.

I'm in EU and this variant is distributed as 'indie-exclusive' over here. Bought at my local. Also no indication whatsoever on the sticker concerning variants. I was expecting the standard black, so this was a nice surprise! Don't forget to switch to 45rpm ;-) I did, of course..

Picked up a pink copy at Banquet Records this afternoon for £20, this was around 2 PM and it looked like they had a decent amount left. If they have any copies left next Friday they'll be offering them for sale online, probably a long shot but something to keep an eye on I suppose.

I love all things FiL, but the newer stuff is my favorite so far. He keeps reinventing himself but always sounding more polished & mature but also making sure you can still tell it's FiL. New song is awesome. EFBN is my fav album so far, but I'd love a whole album sounding like this new song.

I haven't had a chance to spin mine yet, but I think the other two released sound amazing too. I wonder where they're getting pressed? I was also very happy to see the album packed with cardboard, bubble wrap and the vinyl shipped outside the jacket. Big B's shipping game has gone from lousy to top notch!

Got my golden mead 2LP yesterday. The golden mead color looks awesome and the jacket also looks excellent and is full of visual detail. I'm three sides into my first listen and it sounds awesome too (sonically speaking). Not their best work (that's Black Cascade for my money), but very solid overall. "Angrboda" stands out as the best cut on here by far. I will say this: I am only clicking with Celestial Linage now despite having and listening to it repeatedly since its release in 2011, so after a few listens over time this might reveal itself as something special as well. My only (admittedly minor) gripe is that at 42 minutes this did not need to be a double LP. You can sell it all you want as an "audiophile pressing cut at 45", but I'd rather pay single LP price for the record cut at 33 on a single LP. I mean, neither track on either side of disc 1 cracks 10 minutes, to the point where side two is 8 and a half minutes. Seems almost wasteful. Overall though, very good pressing of a very good album.

The box has space to store your Icky Thump mono and your original press of Icky Thump so you will have everything all together. Nice and neat

Just got my copy. As much as I wished this contained every b-side on vinyl or another disc of demos or a live album, this is a really great set. It's pressed well. Mastering is great. It's sounds fantastic. The book is a nice trip back 18 years. Reminds me of when I had a subscription to the NME and Q. Great album. Still holds up.
