Spinning my indie copy and there's a loud tic across every rotation during the beautiful part at the end of Out of Mana God damnit.

So I got my urban outfitters exclusive today, I applaud whoever shipped out my order. Not only was it packaged amazingly (LP mailer inside of a bigger box) but they sent me 3 instead of 1. All perfect shape.v (edit) people messaging me asking for a copy, one going to my sister the other going to a friend.

The jacket says Made in the Czech Republic on the back of all of them. Only II is a gatefold, I and III have an insert. All are on White Drugs... I is WHTDRGS-014 and II is WHTDRGS-015. What is a little confusing is that I has matrix ZE5357 and II has ZE5754. I'm not totally up with it all, but I think that might be Zenith here in Melbourne? Hope that's helpful!

I purge my CD collection every so often and donate the ones I don't want to my local library. There's no reason to keep CDs I won't listen to again (this has mostly been cancelled out by having Spotify.) For records, I never want more than 200-250 (about 4 squares on a typical record shelf.) I no longer buy records just to buy them. I only get albums I love or when there's no other physical medium (sometimes from bands on bandcamp.)

To each their own, but you can get a second drive constantly creating a mirrored backup (RAID configuration) for 150$ and the rest of your cd sales is gravy.

Contacted King's Road about what is going on with these records, apparently they haven't gotten the clear/black Perfecting Loneliness from the plant yet and aren't sure when to expect it. They offered to go ahead and ship the other two records to me and just send PL in a later order.

If I was on the fence about plunking down a quarter of a grand, before shipping, on a box set like this (I'm not), I'd want black wax as well. I'd want to maximize my chances of getting good sounding records and Mondo don't want to field any returns because the blood spattered sweater stripe with silver streaks vinyl has pressing quality issues. Which it would.

Just half. Sucks though cause I had to pay extra to cover the gas he had to use for the weed-eater.

If it's your first fest, my advice is: - pace yourself! It's a marathon, not a race. - take plenty of water/ food/ rest breaks. - diddley will never cap out, but a lot of the smaller venues will (esp high dive, Atlantic, wooly, Loosey's) and double especially for secret sets. Get there early if it's a must-see. - be flexible. Your plans will change and you won't wind up seeing every band you want to. - eat tacos at flacco's and a gator burrito at Boca. Also hit up the hot dog cart. - if you buy a lot of merch, take advantage of the bag check uhaul at high dive. They let you check it for the day and you can add more stuff to it later. - if you're not staying at either of the official hotels, still try to hit up a pool party/after party/beer purge at one (warning: you can party out front of the HI, but can't go inside if not a guest. Wyndham, you can). - Use the Fest app if you aren't already. Keep an eye out for schedule changes. - hug people and make friends. - If you don't go to one of the 88 Fingers Louie sets, you're fucking up

Yeah they all turned out pretty sweet. The one in the bottom right corner is a new type of color combo that pirates press is trying out, I think it's pretty cool.
