Welp now I've done it....I've bought an expensive $175 vinyl record with liquid in it with John Carpenter's music on it. Is this me coping about missing out on Comic Con tix....I'm not sure lolol. Also I bought the Mondo poster that compliments this record as well.

I dug how there was artwork on the inside of the vinyl on this one as well. None of the other liquid-filled records I've seen have had that.

Standard vinyl pre-orders have been shipping out to customers with more shipping every day until all copies are delivered. The Limited vinyl unit is facing an unfortunate brief delay from our pressing plant, but we expect to be able to ship orders to all customers by mid-November. If you pre-ordered the CD without a Science Fiction vinyl or shirt, your order has been shipped. Yeah. The correct colored ORD definitely says it on the sticker. Seems like they screwed up everyone’s shipments. Contact them, they will send you the correct one.

So, they'll "reject" your offer but, as a hack, they'll send you a counter offer by accepting your offer and just adding to the shipping total? If I'm reading it right, that is 100% bonkers. You aren't bound to follow through on that and Discogs support will gladly help you avoid negative feedback and cancel the order.

Sellers are not allowed to adjust shipping as a counter pricing tool. If someone does that you can easily report them and you will not be penalized.

I always thought Discogs was clear about being an academic-like database project rather than a fun, loose "here's my collection" tool. I haven't combed too far into their Help or About pages but maybe they need to do a better job of explaining their mission and why they have rules, since it seems like a fair amount of people are frustrated that the rules are getting in their way.

You're speaking generally about yourself, while labeling "every one". I still enjoy the show thoroughly. The hype is there, you just don't see it....because you've stopped caring. The ratings are there, but you don't think that counts.....because you've stopped caring. You feel like watching it is a chore or an obligation, because (you guessed it) YOU have stopped caring. Maybe you should just stop watching. I think the show will do okay with 11.3 million.

Not sure if everything is the same, but back in the day they were pretty good at replying to e-mails. They got bad at it when they pressed that alternate artwork edition of The Upsides, but it's still worth a shot.

This is what she had at the show on Saturday: Plus there was vinyl of both albums (orange for Turn Out the Lights, purple and dark blue splatter for Sprained Ankle) and the 7". Also the Sprained Ankle cassette and the Turn Out the Lights CD. There was also a tote bag with that round tiger art from the white shirt on the right, and a tan baseball cap. There may have also been an enamel pin but I can't recall for sure. Of course, there's obviously no guarantee that this will also be the same merch for a European tour. For example, they only had one of the shirts available in my size, which makes some sense as it was the penultimate night of the tour. Now, these same things might be restocked for Europe, or there might be totally new stuff. Who knows?

Unfortunate that it's Jagjaguwar again. Great label with horrible QA/QC on their vinyl releases. Wouldn't be surprised if this is also a noisy press.

That being said , it does appear other people have it in hand now and they are just going to merge the multiple entries into one. Problem solved.

The 100 space wall mounts were tempting, but my wife would have nothing of them, so I went for the 1980's style cabinets. Instead of the faux wood color, I waited for some Black units to show up at the thrift store. I have another one ready when these are full - which is pretty close. (This discgear CD holder is for my 'mixtape' CDs I burn)
