I've always loved the Burbs' score. Dark and sinister yet also goofy and totally 80's. That, along with After Hours, are two I'm dying to see finally pressed.

Excuse me, I meant in terms of things like song writing, lyrics, flow, etc. It felt like a jumble of different albums rather than one cohesive release and Manson really could have redone a lot of the performances he gave. It doesn't sound like a completed project to me but more like they got pretty close and just stopped. Production wise I totally agree, it definitely could've benefited from less touching up.

Unfortunately, not a single human on this world with approximately 7.6 billion people, have crafted a website that let's vinyl collectors catalog their collection. As of now most of us are forced to write everything out on a spiral notebook. Others have innovated and catalog their collection through solar powered satellites that can hold up to 8 terabytes of Microsoft Excel speadsheets, but that can be pricey, anyone from the 1 to 6 million range depending on how successful your countries' space program is.

It's partly, yeah, that Mondo has cultivated a horde of zombie Ketchums who'll snap up just about anything the label puts out. But it's also that Cinevox's standard Suspiria soundtrack artwork is a fucking hideous design abortion. It's one of the best horror soundtracks ever recorded, and while the relatively scarce EMI, Barclay, Odeon & Attic editions look fair-to-decent, I've been waiting decades for an edition that visually complements the music & film .

I sent my blue/red variant back to Bullmoose for a replacement since the jacket and vinyl were damaged. They specifically said I’d get a replacement. It gets back to them today and they tell me they’re out of them and have refunded me. Am I wrong to think that at the time of my original email to them, one should have been set aside for my replacement? This is BS and in my opinion they owe me a replacement.

GZ variants are easily spotted as well and the Pianos splatter def looks like one. So, the Pittsburgh show was a blast! My Ghost Green looks fantastic, can’t wait to spin it. Unfortunately I couldn’t secure a melted noise for anyone - the Merch guy said he alternates from putting out that variant and the sugar inthe tea one each stop. They only had the sugar in the tea one tonight. HOWEVER he did tell me that 250 copies will make their way online after the tour so be sure to be on the lookout (if this wasn’t already common knowledge).

Closer to $120 PPD for me, but I'll take it. Can't wait to finally check out more of their releases outside of Weighing Souls. VC (and most people) are snoozing on this release, hard. Love the artwork. Going with my same strategy as last year: Pick up whatever's cheapest from Bull Moose.

The box set is remastered and sounds amazing. There's a video somewhere that talks about how they were remastered--the process--and it's great. Seems to be the definitive version, at least for the time being.

There's a lot of shit it covers, which is great considering the size of the book, compared to Secret History. Some of the stuff that is revealed (FINALLY) This book really adds depth to both the characters we know and love from the first series, and fills us in on their lives leading up to the new episodes....and beyond a bit.

I'm taking this season slower than I normally do for stuff that drops all at once. I'm only on episode 3. I feel you. I already know some of the stuff that happens. It can't be escaped. And I hate it.

It also sucks when it's been like 3 days since the show premiered, you've been too busy to watch more than 3 episodes, and your iPhone keeps sending you news article alerts about "Creators of Stranger Things discuss the heart-breaking twist of Season 2" and "How this scene in the first season of Stranger Things predicted the chilling finale of Season 2". It's been less than a week! Let me be with the references to twists and finales!
